Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesBe prepared to find the main entrance key fob in one location (hidden lock box) across the street, having one code for that and remembering a separate code for the door. If you’re with children or have a lot of luggage, assign one person to figure this part out
Convenient location, plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Apartment was clean and had necessities.

United Kingdomwe got the lock box ok but we could not find the entrance . give this guy who works in the iceland store a job kamil ,he saw we were a bit lost (we are both nearly 70) he approached us and guided us to the appartment entrance that we thought was the entrance to a car park he even told us the best places to eat and drink and where all the history of the area ,we took his advice and visited the titanic story ,which was brilliant
the location was great on day 2 we were confident enough to go into the city and find our way back no problem

AustraliaGetting into this apartment was like trying to get into Fort Knox. There is a long page of instructions asking you to find a lock box across the road from the apartment building on a busy road; then using a fob scan disk with further digits (which didn’t work) to get into the building’s main door. After spending 10 mins trying to crack that code, I had to ask a resident of the building who luckily was coming out of the building, to help me sort it out. Then after getting to the front door of the apartment itself, there was another convoluted procedure to enter the actual apartment room. With multiple bags in hand, there surely must be a simpler process to enter this quite lovely and comfortable accommodation. Perhaps not the best apartment for elderly people to stay at due to this complex entry system.

United KingdomStill a few things to be added such as hooks in the bathroom, bedside tables and lamps and coasters. We booked for 2 adults and a teenager for the sofa bed. Would have been great if the sofa bed was made up or bedding left accessible so we couldn’t have to go looking for it. Some remnants of building dust on top of sockets and skirting boards. Apartment is lovely and well worth a booking!! Shower was fantastic!! Appreciated having hand soap, washing up liquid etc available in the flat. We did struggle to get in, but I had not read the instructions properly! Spoke to owner who was very helpful!!

The place is lovely, but I you could tell that the hosts are still working on it, as some essentials in the kitchen and elsewhere were missing! I am sure it will be a great place to stay once all the basic utensils, furniture, and lampshades are in place! Having said that, it was very clean and the bathroom is gorgeous - cannot fault those at all!

United KingdomTV signal was very poor quality. The bed was not very comfortable, too soft, and ended up in the middle. Gave my husband back ache. A side table in the bedroom would have been good. Coffee table in the living room would have helped.
Location was good close to the centre. Perfect for getting around.

United KingdomThere is a Ring doorbell / camera installed on the front door which I hated - I felt very watched and uncomfortable as it monitors when you enter or leave the apartment and the owner can watch remotely. I think this should be removed. Also the lockbox is quite far from the front door and there was broken glass and urine in front of it.
Really clean, spacious apartment Good location for work, about 15 minute walk from ICC Coffee, tea and some cereal were provided which was nice
