The shower was small but ok. Overall it was clean but there was some dust in the lampshades and in the wardrobe. We had 2 single beds pushed together which was a bit uncomfortable if you lay between the two, as one was slightly lower than the other.

Lovely room, good size with everything we needed. The fridge was great to keep drinks cool in the hot weather and there was also a fan which was great. The bed was comfortable although it was 2 single beds pushed together which was noticeable. The view from the room was beautiful and sand bay beach was opposite so was perfect. The breakfast was delicious with good choice and staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of car parking available also and only a short drive into Weston-Super-Mare

Maybe a comfy quiet area to relax play cards or read. Also evening menu was good but maybe a little choice of pasta would be nice.

Hotel location good. Hotel food was good, very tasty. Room was comfortable, clean and good view. Couldn’t fault staff who were friendly, approachable and nothing too much trouble to make stay welcoming.

No unbreakables out the front as it was 26-29 so but if shade was needed there. Also on the stairs behind the stairs doors which were pinned back , I thought it was bit dark behind the door. .I touched and pull down on the top of the carpet , it came to it that it was think dirt and dust behind the stairs doors . The pile was about 2-3 inches tall of dirt and dust behind each door. I didn't think it would stay there long as any staff would have noticed the two piles and been ashamed of it, so it was removed that day. . Also under the glass at the dresser had tea stains under it. So I just lifted it and cleaned it the day we got there. But things were cleaned depends who was on duty.

When reading the reviews before we came we couldn't understand why some was so good and others won't. Now we know after our visit. It as LL depends what staff is on. One of the little older local cleaners were so nice Tue and wed , she asked if we needed anything extra above the norm. And each day she refilled the tea and coffee and milks with fresh towels and cleaned the cups and glasses . As we do pay the same each night so I do expect it cleaned every day as it was our first day. Nice to have a fridge in the room with bottle of water . Plus a fan in our room. Also the breakfast was nice . But again depends who was on. Mon and Thurs morning everything was good. .But certain tue morning when asked for poached egg on toast and asked for white bread, he said get your own from the toaster it will come out just two eggs. Certainly not impressed with him. Had to find him to order our breakfast as it was . Then after the teapot was left , we had to find our own cups and milk. Wed was the same with same man , but there was another chap behind the bar, and he was very helpful and got the well built chap to fetch things that he could could get. . But nice options on the menu. But pricey Shout out to the blonde young lady and young dark hair chap sat at the front desk late wed night. Who we had a nice chat with about people leaving their blinds open who was looking out to the sea ... (Haha) Also the tall dark hair cleaner who was there Tue wed morning. So helpful she was.

Not much to dislike. We stayed on a lovely hot day and thought some parasols would have been nice but only a small niggle.

A little gem of a hotel across a quiet street from the beach . Nicely decorated and furnished with complimentary breakfast with a good choice of dishes. Food was good and bar served local beer. Car park was free.

Nothing really. One possibly minor thing was that the double bed was two singles connected (which is perfectly fine). However, the softness of the matrices was different. One was firm (or medium firm) and the other was quite soft and you could sometimes feel the springs. But that was not a big issue.

Very good location. The area is quite and picturesque. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. Overall, I was very pleased with the stay and would definitely recommend. The room was very clean and with a great view (sea).

The breakfast 'supervisor' seemed to be having a strop when we went down for breakfast. There were only 4 other tables when we arrived but he seemed to completely ignore us for the first 20 minutes we were sat down. It was only when another staff member started their shift that we got any service. He was also abrupt and difficult with other customers throughout breakfast, as well as being quite disrespectful to the other staff member on several occasions (in front of several customers). This experience put a dampener on what was otherwise a pretty pleasant stay.

The hotel was lovely and has a really good location. Some of the facilities in the room might be slightly due for an upgrade/update but generally very nice and the bed was very comfy. In the most part, the staff were also very pleasant. Bar was also better priced than your typical hotel, presumably in part due to the number of locals and passing trade visiting

Felt like they were short staffed all the time, especially at dinner. They were often rushing about or a long wait at the bar. Bed wasn't the most comfortable, needs replacing or a topper added. Tea tray was grubby and needs replacing. Some time looking at the details needed. I paid a discounted rate, think if I'd paid full price I'd of been less happy.

Location great next to the beach and overall quiet. Food was good and reasonably priced, especially given the Location. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were generally very clean. Not expensive for what you get.

The beach was a short walk away but was a wild beach so not ideal for little ones to go in the sea or build sandcastles. Good for adults!

The food was excellent and staff were all super friendly too. Plenty of free parking . The bed was huge and very comfortable. You can see that it has had a refurb in but just needs a repaint in some areas to make it perfect.

A slightly wider variety on the evening menu would’ve been nice, some more simple choices like BBQ chicken melt, or some simple salads. Also could do with a few parasols outside when sun is shining.

The welcome drink on arrival was a lovely surprise. The room was much better than we had expected. Lots of choices at breakfast and the times were great. Food was excellent.
