Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomHousekeeping lets the hotel down. Housekeeping staff left dirty cups and wet towels. Reception took action immediately, housekeeping failed to use common sense and lack attention to detail. The hotel must change the housekeeping company as they are bringing down the quality of the hotel.
The staff at reception were excellent, friendly and welcoming.

United KingdomAs others have said there is audible loud bassy music at weekends. I was on the 4th floor and it didn’t bother me as much as I had expected it to, with the fan on and ear plugs in.
Staff very friendly, room nicely decorated. As others have said it could do with a bit of attention and freshening up (ie the TV had virtually no channels available) but it is nice enough. Great location.

United KingdomThe supposed upgrade meant we had a small window straight onto a fire exit which I can’t say was particularly safe in the knowledge very little effort externally on this window and someone with ease could access The room was beyond hot and had fans but simply not enough to obtain a comfortable ambient temperature The deep window sill is clearly causing an issue with cleaning as dust and debris was found on this under and in front of the net curtains (which were dirty) Bathroom dated but okay The noise wow all night relentlessly The pictures of this hotel are misleading

Room was fine, and bed comfortable. Not quite as luxurious looking as the pictures posted on the website. Excellent position for the City centre. Everything you needed was in the room. Liked that they provided some water. Also aircon was great.

United KingdomNo parking and the hotel is situated down a bus-only road. I didn't realise this and am now waiting to get my ticket from the council for driving to the hotel to unload bags. This was a real pain and MUST be made clearer on the details about the hotel to avoid people being disappointed.
