The room could have been more clean, dirt and dust along the walls. The window in my room didn't fully shut which meant it was very quite loud at night being a Saturday night. It was quite expensive

Very good location, comfortable bed. Really good facilities -tea, coffee, iron, ironing board, lots of plug sockets, lovely bathroom, nice rustic feel to the rooms.

The room needed some revamping such as the paint falling from the wall in the bedroom and the light of the mirror not turning on

The bed was comfortable. The location was perfect and the room was styled well.

The hotel photos look better on booking.com than in real life. The carpet in the room didn't look hoovered. We found other room cards on top of the wardrobe as we arrived so handed those in at reception. All lamps did not work in our room. We would stay again as was fine and good location, but I think the photos online should represent what it's actually like.

The bar was cool and the bed was very comfy. Bathroom clean and big.

It’s tired. From getting in the lift to find there’s a button missing, through not being able to turn the bedside light on because that’s broken to a lacklustre breakfast it feels like this property needs better management and a bit of energy

It was very hot in the room, couldn't open window as noisy out, so had air conditioning on, but that was noisy also.

The location is great in the centre of Nottingham. The room was very cool. Had iron and hairdryer.

Room - dark, claustrophobic, windows looking into internal cavity full of pipes and scaffolding, no natural light. Not very clean carpet - decor tired. Bathroom cramped. This was supposedly an upgrade- hate to think what I would have got without. The room was not cheap - £130 and expected much better. Outside doors being painted- hard to get in !

Location was convenient- attending concert nearby.

The toilet was blocked in our room on arrival. The bed had springs sticking out and was very uncomfortable. There were holes in the carpet. There were building works happening at the hotel. The pillows were stained yellow inside the pillowcase and just generally felt unclean.

Great location and staff were very friendly

First room the bed was too close to the wardrobes and could open the doors fully, sink plug was stuck. We moved the bedside table and bed up but clearly the bed had been in this space a while due to carpet markings. Quite a noticeable gap under the door. The room felt very small and cramped for the money spent, scaffolding around the building and was due to be taken down the morning on check out. Not ideal but can't be helped. I did complain and the staff were good at getting maintenance but the phone didn't work in the room to say we sorted the bed. Until the plug issue on top, plus the room view was the inside walls, with scaffolding. I requested to move rooms which was done very quickly and no issues with our second room. It was much brighter and had a bit more space due to a smaller wardrobe.

Great location close to motor point arena, restaurants and bars, friendly and welcoming staff

only thing i would say would be because of location, you could hear the noise from the nightlife outside. this was only a slight inconvenience, it did not diture me from staying or staying again. just a 5% issue.

room brilliant, bathroom clean and shower excellent, location perfect for nightlife, bed very comfy and the aircon was a dream to have in the room as it was 20+ evening. breakfast was great value for money! and very tasty.

We had no forewarning that there would be scaffolding removed right outside our window first thing on a Sunday morning, only seeing signs when we arrived. It would have been good to know in advance.

Great location but is loud as a result! They provided earplugs though so didn’t impact us too much.

The bed sheets were not big enough for the bed. The view was horrible. Not enough tea or coffee in the room. The carpet was a bit dirty and there was some unpleasant stains up the wall.

The room was fine and the bathroom was clean. We liked the toiletries too.
