A sitting room would have been a bonus. Our room had no chair(s) for sitting elsewhere than on the bed. We would have liked a more charmingly decorated room, with a view.

Well thought out options for breakfast that meant people to take a cooked breakfast within a reasonable time slot or opt for early continental style available for collection if they needed to leave early. Varied options and good quality. Comfortable room. Great location near local facilities. Easy parking.

We enjoyed our stay, lovely room (3) and good value for money. Breakfast choices were good and cooked to order. Pleased we were able to extend our stay last minute. Location great, very close to everything and bonus parking at the back of the property.

The location and the B&B and the food

Very nice B&B at a very nice location, just a couple minutes walk to the town center, with shops and restaurants. The parking is on the road by the B&B, Vicarage Road - we had no problems finding space there. The room was cosy and comfortable and the breakfast options were very nice and filling. If you have a lot of luggage, note that you have to climb quite a few steps, first up from the street and then up to the rooms. The visitor center in town was very helpful. There is a nice hike behind the B&B, to the Llyn Elsi lake - a steepish 1 km, followed by a nice walk around the lake in the hills. The hike to Swallow Falls is also peaceful and beautiful.

We stayed in room 4 and the little touches were lovely, our host goes above and beyond, we fill out a breakfast sheet every evening and select a time we would like to eat and it came out perfect every morning, the selection of food and drink with breakfast was lovely, with our own little butter tray on our table, i requested oat milk and had it on my table every morning without having to ask again!! Our room was very clean, the bed was so comfortable haven’t slept that good in ages! The bathroom was very clean with a lovely shower! Definitely felt like a home from home, will definitely be booking again as the location was amazing. Our host was lovely and welcoming, she goes above and beyond to ensure you have a lovely stay!! This is our 4th time coming to betws-y-coed in 2 years and this is the best place we’ve came to!! Highly recommend

The property was a little hard to find exactly which building it was as the greenery had grown over the sign some what and the walk up the property path had a lot of weeds. Just from our first approach it could look better but inside the property was very clean, welcoming and very comfortable.

Great location, minutes walk into the town where there was shops, restaurants, bars, and unbelievable walks and space. Property was very clean. Great facilities in the rooms and breakfast was delicious plus we were given the option of a cold continental breakfast to take out when up and out early. Nice modern bathroom with great shower.

I would have liked the breakfast to have been more locally sourced produce rather than ordinary shop bought products.

The room was very clean and comfortable, the shower was excellent , the tea and coffee making facilities were good and the location was excellent plus private parking a bonus, the host was very pleasant and friendly. we enjoyed our stay.

The shower/bathroom was perfectly clean and adequate but small and a little bit 'tired'. I have very limited mobility and as such requested parking on the rear carpark. I'm not sure what the hostess could have done but there wasn't space to park on there. If I had been travelling alone, I would not have been able to get from my car to the hotel.

Lovely, helpful hostess and daughter. Superb breakfast and good selection. Attentive to needs of room service etc. without wasting resources and unnecessary environmental impact.
