The on street parking was difficult on arrival, expected in Bristol but we eventually found a spot right outside. The host gave plenty of details in regards to this too!

This is a great space! Has everything you need and additional thoughtful touches. We only stayed one night but would definitely recommend and love to stay again with friends.

I booked at one price, and two days later it was almost £20 cheaper. I asked if I could rebook at the lower price, as there were still enough days left before my booking date to do so, but no one responded. I sent several emails about it, and they promised to get back to me, but it never happened. The price difference was significant for me.

Apartment was great. Clean and everything what you need for staying for short journey. Good location, very close to the bus stop not far from center and airport.

It was great ! Will definitely re visit. I liked the area and we walked to Central Bristol no problem but for some it might be a little far to walk.

A great find in Bristol. Spotlessly clean with great facilities. The beds were really comfy and the shower great. Lots of lovely little touches like coffee bags and biscuits and an honesty bar.. I loved the independence of no staff and coming and going as we please. I was worried might be noisy but it wasn't at all .

We received lots of helpful information regarding our check in as well as parking a few days before which was great. The towels are super big and comfortable, which is always a plus. The room was a decent size and had everything we needed.

Thought there would be milk in communal fridge as stated on the welcome note, but none for evening / morn , couldn’t get access to WiFi , text to ask about WiFi code and no replace at all.

Accommodation was fantastic. Great rooms clean, temperature was fab . Really fun Space for myself with two children. Lived the little touches like granola , fresh coffee, sweets / biscuits.

Some breakfast and kitchen facilities were provided (e.g. tasty granola), however it said milk would be provided in the communal fridge but wasn't. Maybe the welcome information in the room should be updated if this is no longer the case.

I was really impressed by the CoalShed. Quirky communal space, well located (of course that depends where in the city you need to be) and really comfortable room. I stayed for one night before staying with a friend – however I'd have been very happy to spend my whole trip here.

The owners could have answered out texts a bit faster.

Everything was perfect! We got to the centre of the city by foot. It’s about a 28 minutes walk. The property was very clean and comfortable.

The area outside front door…a little bit mess and blocked by a bin (properly someone moved it unintentionally). Also there was only one coffee filter left in my room’s bar and I can’t any refill available in the kitchen lol. Would be better if adding alternative car parking in the welcome pack, e.g., The Diamond Street Carpark, where is just 10mins walk away from the hotel. Street parking outside the hotel wasn’t a good option, and the carpark of the private school mentioned in the welcome pack was a big confusion for someone rare travel or first time to Bristol! Instead, Diamond Street Carpark could be a third choice for those travel by car!

Amazing communal area with interesting design and facility. Soft drinks and alcohol is serviced. Tidy and clean kitchen. Comfortable room, beds, clean toilet, full set of self-helped bar!

We appreciated the chance to use the shared kitchen, plus the availability of tea and coffee. The room was very clean and comfortable (it was possible to adjust the room temperature), the bathroom was en-suite, which was great. The communal area with table tennis, pool and other things is great, excellent for a group of friends.

Key box code to room 3 didn't work, had to ring to get key and waited half an hour for call back. Fire alarm went off at 5.40am - took ages for another guest to finally get hold of owners & learn how to turn it off. No bath mat and no hooks in bathroom to hang clothes or towel. No milk in room for cereal only sachet milk for hot drinks.

Good breakfast cereal and supplies in room, good kitchen facilities and supplies. Loved the honesty bar and snacks - great idea.

The location seemed a little run down, there was quite a lot of rubbish just outside the property and loads of graffiti all over the building (not 'street art') but that seemed common throughout the whole area. But there were lots of independent coffee shops, bars, restaurants etc to choose from! There was what looked like mould inside the fridge in our room annd the air conditioning unit made noise throughout the night even though it was turned off. Regardless of this, we would happily stay here again and we would make sure to make more use of the facilities!

The room was nicely decorated and clean and the bed was very comfortable. We liked the games in the communal area and the honesty bar. It was very quiet when we were there, we actually didn't see one other person and only heard a little bit of noise in the morning. The shower was lovely and good quality shampoo, conditioner and shower gel were provided.

Very close to my training centre, the information booklet told me about the area the first time I stayed which was useful, and it's clean and comfortable. Would happily book again.

The sound proof of each the room can be improved, if there is other guest plying pool or talking in the common area , it can be heard clearly in each room.

Even though all the sighs reduce noise to minimum was so awful people there playing at 11 pm shouting slamming doors being just so selfish wanted to punch them.. otherwise place is really nice.

I was glad to take my own scented candle in a jar as - though not overpowering - I could smell the cleaning fluids used in the bathroom.

It was clean, comfortable, spacious. I liked that I had my own little store of cutlery, plates and they provided a little bit of coffee to filter. Super convenient location for the purpose of my stay. Close to lots of interesting shops, bars and cafes.

not having any sort of bin in my apartment was difficult. nowhere to put unwanted items until going out to the kitchen. its strange not actually having a wardrobe or drawers to place clothes.

Due to being vegan, I took my own breakfast, milk and butter. I don't expect these to be provided. It was good to have use of the microwave.

Our heater didn’t work but we weren’t too cold in the end. Very noisy with young children playing in games room, thin walls, but all was quiet after 10pm.
