Next door to St Paul's so bring ear plugs for the bells ringing early in the morning.

The hotel is nice, extremely central and a very good location but the rooms are slightly dated.

The room was very large and spacious. The furniture of the room itself is a bit dated, but that being said the room did have a small fridge and a microwave which was usefel (especially the fridge). The bathroom was nice. I also made good use of the gym they had (although it is small, if you know what to do with dumbbells and a bench you're good).

Poor ventilation. The air con was stuck on 29c and wouldn't turn down. Woke up to a temp of 32c. Unhealthy temperature and very uncomfortable.

Renovations ongoing - we should have been told about this, as there was a considerable noise impact on the bedroom. Most peculiar arrangement of toilet in the entrance to the bedroom, with loo on the left of the entrance walkway, and washbasin on the right of the walkway - did not have that in the room I stayed in last time I visited, but that might have been in a better room. Heating controls did not work (which is a very common problem with many hotels). Fortunately the temp it decided to maintain was reasonably close to what we wanted, so it was not unbearable -just hotter than comfortable.

The in room tea and coffee were not restocked when the bed was remade after the first night and the cups were not replaced/ cleaned.

Stayed here before so knew the location was good for where he has to get to. Clean and the staff were very pleasant and helpful

We booked 3 rooms for 2 nights. One of the rooms was extremely cold and although heaters were provided it wasn't good for the people staying in that room. We were offered another room the next night however it wasn't worth the effort to do so as it was late when we received this information. My colleagues did find previous reviews that highlighted this same problem... I would suggest if your room is cold when you arrive, request for a change immediately. We were provided within complimentary breakfast vouchers which were appreciated.

Everything was as expected, we will return to stay here again, it was an ideal location and met our requirements.

Not enough space for storage, but it’s okay for short trip, and the door to bathroom didn’t close.

The room was large and comfortable for 2 persons. Place was warm, and not far away from metro. Also, I liked lobby, where you can have a free coffee, snacks, water, and you can take a free bottle of water on each floor as well.

The bells woke me up a couple of times as we were so close to the cathedral.

I was a bit concerned about the bells from St Pauls, but they were ‘soft’. But walls between rooms are thin, and a group of loud laughing people kept me up until 1 PM.

The room was very nice. 45 min walk to Soho/West End. The breakfast and dinner restaurant was good (we chose the ala carte, not buffet) The lounge area was nice (too few seats bear the fireplace :-) as it was popular in a cold January weekend

The walls are not sound proof at all. The neighbours on the floor above were shagging until 2am and I could hear everything loud and clear.
