United KingdomCliff Rise was an excellent choice for accommodation in this area. The house was modern, clean & very well equipped. Could not fault the house and wished we had booked for longer! Fabulous location to the beach, walks and town. We received pre book in information and a friendly welcome in the days leading up to our stay- it was a nice touch. While in the area we went to a local pub, The Plough Inn, they have a patio “beer garden” that is dog friendly and served breakfast from 10am through to evening meals. We went to Pomegranate Cafe for a late breakfast- with the dog they had a few spots outside to sit- the coffee was amazing! We walked along the cliffs running alongside the golf course, to the Seven Sisters which on a glorious day that we had was spectacular. On our way back we went to the clubhouse @ the golf club which is open to non members and is also dog friendly- wish we had thought of this sooner as the views are great! We look forward to returning in the near future.

United KingdomThe only thing that was missing was that it would have been nice to have a cafetière. I don't really like the coffee in the coffee machines, and maybe some slightly bigger mugs as well as the small ones. A small selection of teabags is always nice. But these are only small things, it was all really lovely and if we go back to the area I would stay here again.
It was a lovely bright apartment, with really comfy seating, modern amenities and really good little extras like blankets, cushions, towel origami, beautiful lighting, warm, and spacious.

Absolutely everything! Such a great location and got a great winter weekend with no strong winds! The hosts sent us great info from the day we we're getting ready to make our way, Tony & Steph are fantastic hosts and ready to help make the stay amazing...and may I add we had a welcome message on arrival, mince pies and mulled wine and a prcesco in the fridge...so lovely. My grandson who has low spectrum autisum had such a great time, he has a thing about stones and water and that beach was ideal for him which was 5mins walk away, he was so excited. He was so chilled in the evenings too due to the relaxing peacefulness of the house.. We drove to Eastbourne City Centre which was a 25min drive which was nice and it was lovely to come back to Cliff Rise the cosy home. We loved it so much that we've booked to come back in the summer and we all are looking forward to it! Thank you Tony & Steph for your lovely holiday home and making your guests feeling very welcome 💖
