Expensive as Saturday night stay Wish checked if aircon in room, as slept with window open and was noisy. Perhaps staff can mention aircon operation if a hot day.

Having to leave!

The Clayton Hotel was the perfect base for us to explore Manchester. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, from the reception staff, to bar and restaurant staff (big shout out to Sophie and Ivan in the restaurant very helpful and super positive!. The breakfast was lovely, a little cold however this is not the fault of the hotel it was incompetent guests who couldn't put the lids down. Hotel was very clean, beds were lovely and comfortable and nothing was too much trouble. We've stayed in many hotels in Manchester however Clayton Hotel tops them all. Thank you for a lovely stay xx

The staff could not have been more pleasant, friendly and helpful an instant impact as soon as we arrived at reception. 1st class.

The breakfast was abit cold and chaotic with seating situations and cutlery service , definitely more things to sort as staff were letting people to breakfast without any seating so we’re left stranded and waiting for people to finish, looked very disorganised.

The shower was cold. A few lights in the room were broken with one making a buzzing sound for whole stay. The drain was super noisy which woke us up in the night.

Nakia was amazing. She welcome us to the hotel and ensured we had everything we needed from our requests. She is clearly an asset to the hotel at the workforce. Thank you for making the start of our stay so pleasurable

Clean and modern. Everything you need for a short stay. Want to praise Farah being service minded and professional when helping me with check in. I came a little early in the morning (before normal check in time) and she found a room that was ready so I could check in early.

The hotel was beautiful, ideally situated and very clean. Excellent staff, and especially Karen front of house staff who was so helpful and lovely.

The self check-in computers take more time and effort than going to the reception desk; everyone I saw using them needed staff assistance which defeats the purpose. They also had the details about my stay wrong, although the details were correct when I went to the reception desk. And despite there being 3 lifts they never seem to be working efficiently and take a long time to come.

Nice clean hotel in a good location. I have stayed here many times and it's always good.

The noise from the gay village the music was way too loud and didn’t stop until 4am.

Very clean and modern, beautiful table full of flowers in reception, staff friendly and professional, good selection of food and drinks for breakfast, excellent amenities in room.
