Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

KuwaitVery old flat and furniture Squeaky floors One of the beds in the twin bed room was concave in the middle from the overuse of the matrice! Struggle to get the bathroom locked, we couldn’t leave it unlocked as the door does not close at all! Kept swing open 🙂 Staff only respond when they needed to tell you something but never respond when you need to. Check your belongings before you leave as they will not respond to you. Forgot the charger in a previous flat of the same property and kept asking them since day one about it they told me about it while i was at the AIRPORT after 3 days of chasing them !

United KingdomThe bed settee which we needed to use was broken but we didn’t discover until we came to use it. Evidence of previous repairs so it would have been good for it to have been checked before arrival. Led to an uncomfortable first night but issue was resolved by the second night.
Location was perfect. Staff were responsive and friendly and happy to help. Although some parts of the apartment were a little tired it was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed.

United KingdomThe checking in process was a bit confusing. Not so much checking in, but we had to leave our luggage at the desk because we arrived well before our check in time. Leaving it there and retrieving it was a bit complicated and communication about that could have been better.
Apartment was in a great location, very clean and exactly how it was advertised. The house manager was extremely helpful and available at all times to answer our questions.

Amazing location, cosy apartment and freidly team. My family enjoyed the stay as it was easy to get to London's attractions and shopping centers from there-all around 15 minute walk , which was great in the summer weather.

United KingdomI feel the photos are slightly outdated as the flat we were in looked slightly run down. And there were no coffee pods in the kitchen. The towels were too small too. We were also only provided a blanket and not a duvet for my brother.
We liked the location, the fact it was walking location to everything we needed. I liked that the staff were on the other end of the phone for any problems and were very accommodating when we needed to check out later than planned. I loved how private the balcony was. The bed was beautifully comfortable and I slept well.

United KingdomIt was a little chilly - I couldn't get the bedroom wall heater to work but was OK. I also the shower was pretty fiddly but a quick call and the host pointed me in the right direction. Probably more me than anything else. Wifi was patchy other than in the lounge. And the kitchen could have done with a bread/cutting board. Small things that would not put me off staying again.
Spacious apartment. Clean and comfortable, and an ideal location for me, although perhaps a little 'tired'. The 'host' was great too - I was able to leave my suitcase whilst I went about my day of local meetings, and it was in the apartment when I eventually checked in.

We were able to store our luggage before check in (and it was delivered to our apartment which was fantastic) and also after check out. The apartment was spacious clean and very comfortable.
