Beautiful building with character, clean, comfortable lots of facilities. It was quiet and peaceful. It met our needs so we could meet up with the rest of the family who could also have their own apartment for weekend.

There are some steep stone steps at the back which are not lit and are really quite dangerous. We had to use the torches on our mobile phones to navigate them safely.

The apartment was really spacious for 4 people. Its in a lovely old sandstone building and beautifully decorated with lots of thoughtful touches throughout. Everything looks brand new from the bedding to the carpets. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that you’d need. I couldn’t fault it in any way.

Very well situated within the town. Just a short walk into the town and the esplanade to restaurants and shops. Lovely park opposite, really enjoyed the live band on the weekends. Great apartment with everything you could need should you want to self cater. Has washing machine, dishwasher, iron etc for longer stays. Beautiful garden and nice and quiet. Checking in process was sent prior to stay by David and included a link to a video showing the property and instructions/directions to keys and room. He also offered to get a reduction in ferry crossing too. Great communication Would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again

The steps at the rear of the property from which you access your apartment. Obviously, this feature can't be changed due to the structural layout of the property, but my wife struggled and as did myself with large cases.

Very beautifully appointed apartment. Everything you need for a comfortable stay was made available. Located opposite a beautifully managed garden park. Shop, cafes and beach is within reasonable walking distance, be mindful Ventnor is very hilly. We very much enjoyed our stay at Clarence House apartments.

A lovely apartment in a beautiful house, just opposite the park. The hosts were both charming and helpful. A quiet location within a short walk of Ventnor, and with access to the coastal path through the park opposite the property. There are some great restaurants in Ventnor, and lovely walks around the area. We'll definitely be staying here again.

The accommodations were stunning the building was built around the 1860's I believe, it is immaculately finished it was a lovely experience to holiday in it and would not hesitate to stay there again. It is in a great location with wonderful walks in Ventnor Park that lead off to coastal pathways and stunning views

Bit of a mix up with key collection but quickly sorted and not a drama.

Nice quiet location opposite Ventnor Park. Easy down hill walk to town and beachfront. Friendly welcoming hosts.

The kitchen could have been a lot better equipped! When booking a self catering place, I expect it to be equipped as such - but I definitely wish I had brought more cooking equipment (additional stainless steel pots for one). The splash back was also non existent, and as the property was so neat and clean I was a little bit nervous of causing any mess, so I made sure I cleaned doubly carefully! The sofa. whilst practical wasn't overly comfortable. Finally, sound proofing definitely can not be claimed - I work in the building industry and am very well versed in building regulations. The sound of flushing toilets, and running water from adjacent apartments was extremely loud to the degree that it would not have passed building regs in 2023! It should be noted, that this was only on the final night, and I've travelled extensively so this in no way diminished the enjoyment of the apartment or trip as a whole!

The garden was really stunning, the general location was really quiet (but that was also due to the time frame I had booked). The interior decor and cleanliness was to a good standard. Location was fantastic, and parking was really easy and plentiful. Best holiday in the UK yet!

Nothing of significance.

Very nice apartment, well designed and equipped for a short stay (or possibly longer?) set within gorgeous Georgian house. Just over the road is a really lovely park with bandstand and a (60's/70's pop) band playing on the Bank Holiday. Just a short, but a bit steep, walk to the beach and Spyglass Inn. Would definitely return here again.

sound travelled quite a lot from the other apartments the water heat/pressure was variable, assuming this is because others were using it at the same time but water would completely stop for a few minutes and it was hard to keep the temperature on warm (rather than scolding hot)

lovely apartment in a great location, really easy to find and close to the costal path and to town, easy to park too the property had a lot of character, lovely high ceilings, the garden was beautiful & clearly a lot of thought had gone into the interiors and decor too hosts were very helpful, providing loads of useful information before & during our stay and even booking the ferry crossing for us apartment was really well kitted out, we didn’t really use the kitchen but if we had, it would have had everything we needed. Also really appreciated the information packet including maps of the island, coffee pods, radio, smart tv and usb sockets next to the beds! :) bed was really comfy and apartment was spacious & a good temperature (heating came on in the evenings which was nice) would definitely stay again!
