Living room is quite big. One electric heater I think there’s another one other side of room but didn’t know if I should switch it on, sofa was against it. Had to keep main room door closed to keep any heat. Not that I dislike just to be more warm more heaters.

Wifi working, quiet no noise from other people inside the building. Everything in the kitchen working. Oven toaster etc. I saw there were new batteries in the draw, so I replaced the remotes old battery luckily so kids could watch some tv after a long journey. Asda is five minutes walk away. Metro station round the corner and bus garage. Ferry to South Shields is walking distance. Beds were comfortable. Washing machine was working. Was tricky at first to find the lock box but the host answered call and was very friendly and patient with me until I found it and checked in.

It needs some tlc, bathroom needs it. Television didn’t work nor the Wi-Fi details, I messaged on booking.com and text two numbers that were provided and I didn’t get a response from any. Story’s in the hall way are poor.

Slightly rough part of North Shields but once inside, the apartment was great

Quiet, well ventilated bedroom with enough space. Good sized open plan dining room/kitchen/lounge. Close to Tyne ferry, Fish Quay, parks.

There's no instructions on some of the household facilities, such as; the electric radiators. It got very cold with it being practically on the sea front and we had to resort in looking at a online manual to figure out how to warm the apartment.

A little confusing with the keys being on a completely different building which lead to me calling the host to see if we were given the wrong keys or wrong apartment but quickly (1 hour) explained which apartment was the right one and was very understandable about the confusion as "this happens all the time"

As we were a family of 3, I expected a sofa bed in the lounge. The bed was very low, however, once in was comfortable.

The apartment was in a good location with all shops and amenities close by. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with lots of added extras in the cupboards.

Was 2 hot even though no heating on and unable to open the front window as no key The fridge is 2 cold so froze the milk so needs looking at in case faulty Could do with a hoover or brush as the rug moults

The host said that the property has a double bed and a sofa bed so it's suitable for a child and a couple. Apparently that was incorrect, we travelled 6 hours to learn that there is no sofa bed and my husband ended up sleeping in couch so our son (3 yrs old) can sleep on bed. He woke with worst back pain which ruined our trip. THE HOST HAD THE AUDACITY TO STILL CHARGE FOR THE NIGHT AFTER WRONG INFORMATION!!! she refused to refund even after all the inconvenience she caused. Horrible Horrible HOST.

The advert had a list of things but most of them were not anywhere in the property.

Wish I had booked more days to stay.

It’s 2 minutes away from the town centre, train station and bus garage. You can also walk down 10 minutes to the ferry. The apartment is a really comfortable place to stay. Made all our meals in the kitchen and nice shower and bath.

The property was a hidden gem. Inside everything was newly furnished and very clean. Everything and more you would need for a comfortable stay in South Shields. The owner was very polite and made us feel very welcomed.

The apartment was really well looked after and it smelled clean as soon as you walked into the entrance! lovely apartment and the owner Rue was lovely too. Will stay again :)
