we were told that the restaurant & cafe served gluten free food, but they did not. this was disappointing as one of our parties is coeliac.

location is great and safe, very modern hotel. would definitely stay here again. facilities are good, great price all things considered!

Breakfast was poor and struggled to cope with peak hour. Coffee machine out of action regularly, hot buffet disappointing, cold buffet very basic

It's more like a recommendation. Breakfast could be unorganized a bit better... Use the bar for the coffee machines and add a third one to avoid huge queues infront. Probably there was an understaffing, food was empty quite often and the service couldn't fill up fast enough for all guests. Also it has to be ensured that the food is available, can't be possible that all pastries are out at 9.30am if breakfast is scheduled until 11am.

Both the couples we were staying with got an upgraded room automatically we unfortunately didn't. I wasn't mad about the layout of the room I felt you would have to be quite comfortable with who your sharing your room with the toilet and shower room were separate but not very private. It was quite expensive for the size of the room. No water in the room apparently there are water coolers on certain floors not floor 2 were are room was not even a biscuit apparently that's a standard room for you 220 pound no water, biscuits, coffee machine not even a jug to fill if I wanted to climb the stairs to find a water cooler. They upgraded my family to nearly top floors unfortunately I couldn't get up to see them unless I walk up the stairs my keyboard only worked in the lift to second floor my family where on the eleventh. We would of asked to all stay on the same floor had we known this.

The breakfast area was very spacious. There were six of us and we all enjoyed the breakfast and the seating area. Lots of helpful staff nearby at breakfast and we never had to wait very long at reception even when it was busy. Staff very friendly, efficient and professional.

Staff was great, especially BEN! He is a legend! Room was quite fine, but didn't like the fact that restroom and bath are very close to the bed, so if you have to go to the restroom in the night you will definitely wake up your family. Breakfast was ok, but some things were missing often, like ham. Not a lot of sweets. The cook who makes eggs is great!

Breakfast was a bit chaotic. There was no chef on day one & things kept running out. For some reason our room didn’t get serviced after day one either.

The shower flooded if kept on for too long as there was nothing to stop the water coming out, leaving the floor wet. The tv channel/lack of netflix/connectable devices.

Room 535 was lovely - however on the first night of our stay, the fan in the heating system ran at FULL and we were unable to adjust it. Like a drone over the bed. We reported this and it was sorted for our second night.

The extractor fans in the toilet and shower were noisy and running at full force. We had to get maintenance to turn them down for us. Provision of tea and milk was minimal and we had to request more.
