It was only a little niggle of the milk jugs being empty at breakfast.

I was staying with my daughter the night before her wedding. On request we were allowed to keep our second room on free of charge for 2 hours as it was for the wedding party to have hair, makeup etc done. We over ran a little but we're not hassled to vacate the room. This was very much appreciated.

I found it very difficult to find the car park. Google maps takes you to the front of the hotel and you really need to be round the back to access the car park. But the staff were really helpful enabling me to find the car park (eventually)!

Our room was great - large and clean and the bathroom was a good size with a powerful shower. We didn't have breakfast so I can't comment.

Lovely airy feel to reception and restaurant with lovely views of the neighbouring gardens. Staff were excellent I had booked for several family of friends as well and they went out of their way to locate us together.

Substantial breakfast, eggs cooked to order, cold meats and cheeses were fresh and appealing, as were the pastries and fresh fruit. The staff in the restaurant were friendly, helpful and seemed to be enjoying their jobs. The restaurant is also light and airy. We had dinner in the restaurant on two nights out of the three of our stay. The meals were freshly made and of high quality, again served by friendly staff. What we particularly liked about this hotel is that it has a relaxed atmosphere and is not so big as to make it impersonal. Added to that, the staff throughout the hotel are extremely helpful. Reception staff were welcoming and always ready to provide information about the city, means of transport and places to visit. Overall, a most pleasant stay!

Queue to access restaurant for breakfast on the second day of my stay was lengthy; there were very, very few spare seats inside the restaurant . More disappointingly - given the size of the restaurant - was the disjointed layout for the various breakfast items; cereal containers some distance from cereal bowls and coffee machines X2 were too close to each other so that when a queue built up only ONE coffee machine could be approached. ALSO coffee machines were 'tucked into" one corner so that creating more than one queue was close to Impossible

Comfortable room; minimal noise from outside room; good view over park at rear of hotel. Staff were all welcoming and helpful. Breakfast food was of decent quality - both the cooked breakfast and the fruit and cereals.

Only the breakfast. Whilst selection of items was fair, ALL the 'hot' plate food was stone cold. Coffee machines were allowed to run out of key supplies. Limited choice of cold options.

Great location, good sized and very clean room. Nice reception area and lovely reception staff. Quiet city centre location, couldn't hear any traffic noise.

Sadly the breakfast only had fried eggs no scrambled eggs, tomatoes, mushroom and hash brown option. There were no vegetarian sausages available.

Good location 6 minutes walk from the rail station and 10 minutes walk to the shopping centre. Buses were located only 1 minute from the bus stop and easy access to the High Street as we wanted to go to Primark for shopping.

Bed was uncomfortable, hardly slept both nights. The lady behind the bar was really slow serving and also served two dead largers.
