I wouldn’t say “didn’t like” but Would have preferred to be able to have control of the times the heating came on / went off as was a bit too warm at night - did as much as we could to control it with the radiator thermostats. Internet very unreliable.

Really good size rooms, beds very comfortable. Plenty of furniture to store clothes etc

Me and my colleagues did not feel particularly safe with the front door. The handle just hung down was not functional and the lock took a bit of practice from all of us to use. I booked for 3 adults and only two keys were supplied. Due to the nature of the lock and our different/late working times it was not ideal and not safe in a potential emergency. More mirrors and wardrobe space would be useful. I booked for 3 adults and the third bedroom had two single beds in with only one bed made up and no spare bedsheets. So she was unable to push them together and had to sleep in a single bed. Facilities were fine and it was a comfortable stay. It could do with some updating in parts of the property. Some homely features would be nice. For work I travel weekly around the UK and experience many types of accommodation.

It was in a good location for us to walk into work to the theatre. It was close to shops which was very convenient.

Street noise but we expected that. Glass plate missing from microwave and shelving in fridge door. Had to buy extra black bags and kitchen cloths. Sitting room a little sparse looking.

Location was brilliant. Beds were really comfortable. Place was spotless. Kitchen was generally well equipped.

A yale lock on the actual flat front door would have been good/more secure/easier to open. I saw that most of the other flats had added one.

We went as a family for my daughter's graduation. The location was central so great for that and enjoying the city. Nice layout of the flat inside

Some of the facilities at the apartments needs to be revamped especially the locking system. The main door lock is super-rusty, it can even consume 5 mins of your time to lock or unlock. We were at the 3rd floor and there are no lifts in the building (which I didn't knew) probably I missed it in the description, if it was mentioned any where.

Host is highly responsive and supportive, provided us will all the relavant details + extended our checkout time by an hour. The apartment is in the heart of the city, 10 to 12 mins you can walk into Edinburgh Castle. The rooms are fairly sized and equipped with all the required accessories.

Since the flat is located on a very busy crossroad and the windows are only single-glazed, it can get loud through the night (but that is not the fault of the owners).

The proximity to the city centre is amazing, and the owners were very helpful. It is very comfortable for a short stay.

The sofas were really not very comfortable.

There was an issue collecting the keys which was resolved within 5 minutes and a couple of things not working which were quickly fixed - 10/10 for responsiveness and service! Location is very convenient for transport links, shops and walkable from the centre but it is a bit noisy. The flat was warm and clean and everything was straightforward. Its quite basic but worked perfectly for our stay. Lovely Polish bakery/cafe Babka and Piccolino Italian restaurant nearby highly recommended

Some of the beds were comfier/firmer than others, however that is completely personal preference. Excellent location, however the outside aesthetics and surrounding properties let the property down. More mirrors would be appreciated.

The host was very friendly and accessible. She couldn’t help enough when we had left without some of our belongings. The accommodation was clean and basic but had everything we needed. The location was brilliant. Close distance to landmarks and tourist attractions with lots of choice for food and drink nearby.

Nothing. We liked everything altho we had to carry our huge bags up the stairs as the apartment is on the top floor and there's no lift.

The apartment looks newly renovated and very clean. All the rooms are spacious. The location is great and just a 10 minutes walk to Princess Street. There are lot of convenience shops nearby. 5 of us enjoy our 5 nights stay there. Rob and Vicky were very nice and they waited for our late arrival.

A few things in the flat were amiss. Just little things like corroded batteries in the TV remote, TV reception itself was glitchy and in and out. Bannister on stairway was partly broken although the host was aware of this and explained for us to be careful. No plug in bathroom sink. Shower wasn't draining well so a bit of a pool in bottom of shower by the time we were finished showering. On inspection the plug was full of black hair from previous guests! Blinds in the twin bedroom weren't fixed properly so fell down when we went to adjust them.

Kitchen was very well equipped, bedrooms were comfortable and warm and flat was nice and central. It was good value for money however some things to need to be checked on changeovers and for new arrivals. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would recommend but the small things to need to be attended to and sorted out.

The two flights of steps to reach the property were challenging but we had been warned. We were told that we would be met by the owners, at the flat, but that didn't happen. Now we know why... All the mattresses needed replacing as they were uncomfortable, and there wasn't enough clothes storage. The bathroom almost defies description! The loo seat moved to one side. If you just shut the bathroom door, someone on the outside had to open it for you or you would remain locked in. (Not good if you were alone or if children were staying) The shower worked well but took up most of the bathroom, leaving little space. The wash basin was tiny and had no plug, so water was wasted. The window looked as if it had been installed by a 5 yr old, and didn't open. This room should be gutted!! This is a good flat in a good area, but needs money spent on it to give guests a good night's sleep and a decent bathroom experience. The final insult - we were promised a refund of £30 for cleaning the lounge and kitchen before we left. We left them spotless, but still haven't received the money in spite of reminding the owner.

The location was good, with restaurants nearby. Many sights were within walking distance. Taxis to the centre were plentiful and cheap. The kitchen was as new and had everything we needed. The lounge was sparsely furnished but fine for a short stay. There was no sound from the neighbours, and the traffic noise wasn't too intrusive. The rooms were all a good size, (except the bathroom) including a useful hallway with coat pegs.

We consider that for an apartment for 6 people just one bathroom (and no other toilet facilities) is not enough. In fact, the lock of the bathroom's door blocks and it can't be opened from inside, just from the outside corridor (some of us got trapped inside for a while). There is no lift and going up stairs is necessary to access the apartment. There was noise coming from the street (cars, ambulances...) at night in the bedrooms that were on the street's façade.

We consider that the best of the apartment is the location. The kitchen is well-equipped although we didn't use it much. There wasn't any noise coming from other apartments.
