We had a wonderful stay at Chycara. We couldn't have imagined a more beautiful location and really appreciated the peace and quiet. For us ideally located conveniently close to family for visits. We look forward to staying again.

There were missing or dirty kitchen equipment. No salt & pepper / frying oil. Pool was empty, but could not be used since we had no booking.

House is great looking, specious, clean. Comfortable beds. Garden around is beautiful.

Unfortunately there is no entertainment on the premises, no bar ect... and we was hoping to use the pool however the prices are extremely high, and you would think that for residents it would be free or even a few pounds each.

Stunning views surrounding the shepards Lodge. Perfect for two, very cosy and intimate. Xx

Amenities were excellent, the lodge was very spacious and provided all the facilities required for our stay. It is little bit down a country road however its positioned really well for access to Falmouth and Truro. Although we didn't have time to enjoy them, the outside loungers and seating looked great.

Only thing I can think of, was the kitchen tap was stiff and we got splashed every time we used it.

No tea/coffee making provisions on arrival. Basic provisions would have been appreciated.

The directions to our cottage was a bit confusing as there were plenty of cottages around and ours were towards one end and was a bit confusing to find it.

We had a fantastic time staying at chycara.. calm and quiet place. It’s ideal place if you want to getaway from busy noisy city life for a few days. We had a fantastic three day stay. Would suggest to get all organic food stuff as they don’t provide anything. Not even tea bags or coffee sachets were there. Which was a shame as we were expecting Atleast some sachets of tea one or two. But that’s just a silly excuse but the place and it’s serenity was breathtaking.

The lodge wasn’t that clean for the money we paid. The tv, mirror, and cooker were dirty. All smear marks. The blinds did not work and the vertical blinds were broke along the bottom. There was a stain on the sofas. The doors were peeling. The twin bedroom had cobwebs on the curtains. Just sadly the cleanliness of the place let it down.

The peace and quiet. Just so tranquil.

flickering lights this apparently occurs with the energy saving light bulbs there not compatible with the dimmer switches !! the twin single beds aren’t that comfy can feel the springs !
