Rooms are tight, but I’d a lovely balcony overt looking the sea.

The concierge when we arrived was very helpful and we’d a minor issues with. air con which dealt with unfortunately I can’t remember his name (night shift) So thank you 👏🏼

Great place, if you are not in a hurry when you need to use the elevator.

When we stayed over, one of the two elevators was out of order. The one in order was a small 80-year-old elevator. The queues of people trying to get down with their luggage in the morning were enormous. For elderly people or travellers with heavy suitcases, the stairs were no option. The maintenance of the hotel, in general, is falling behind.

The old style of the hotel is great. The hotel has its own parking lot that can be used after registering your license plate at the reception. The rooms with two separate beds were good. The beds were very comfortable.

Not a problem really but kitchen in the restaurant was under refurbishment so there was a limited menu on at the time we stayed.

Extremely generous sized room for 2 adults and 3 small children. Location was ideal as we needed to catch an early ferry the following morning. Breakfast was brilliant, they had a large selection of full English/continental items and both adults and children loved it - there was something for everyone. The staff member who checked us in was amazing and very freindly.

We got a really nice room for five and had to switch it cost of electricity problems. That wasn’t that great that we got a smaller room for this. Also a weird smell we noticed in the hallways and Stairwells. Swinging hallway doors can be very disturbing early in the morning.

It came with a parking lot. The rooms were clean they didn’t smell. It came with a very good breakfast I would say. Walking distance to local restaurants.

There was nothing I didn't like, but I was only there one night.

The room was a nice size. It was clean, as was the bathroom. There was a good choice for breakfast. Staff were courteous and helpful. It was ideally set for the Dover ferry.

The smoke detector in our room was faulty and resulted in the whole hotel being woken around 3am. A member of staff had to unscrew our alarm,

    Outside needs a refresh

Location to marina and Royal Cinque Yacht Club was super handy. We were fortunate to have been given a sea facing view looking out to blue skies, channel ferries in the distance and shingle beach. Bedrooms newly renovated, good decor with mirrors in all the right places. Staff were friendly and helpful - they seemed to be going through extra mile. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of healthy options including homemade smoothies.

I was under the impression that my booking inc;luded breakfast, so, when I discovered it didn't, it made it less good value than I'd hoped. We had one breakfast, which was really very ordinary, so went elsewhere for our second, which was MUCH better value.

The position, the general helpfulness of staff, the well organised parking arrangements. And certainly the spa, where my (disabled) partner was made extremely welcome and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Rooms were boiling at first and we couldn't open all the windows. With a young child that's a problem. The sofa bed in the family room was broken, so dad had a bit of a crap night. Definitely need to check over the bathrooms a bit toilet seats secure etc. 1 lift working which was also always full meant I had a day of sport 😅

Best thing about the stay was gary, the guy on reception. He was really helpful and friendly. Staff were all friendly and breakfast was really good. Parking just outside is free 6pm-8am which is great. Right next to the beach. Location was great near the ferry

Evening waiting staff in restaurant uninterested, hot stuffy room, couldn’t open window for the pigeons, couldn’t get air con cool enough, lift very slow.

Seafront location, spa, Marco Pierre White restaurant on site, hotel car parking across the road, not sure how secure it was.
