It was so clean, everything you need for a lovely stay. Breakfast was more thsn adequate. It was above and beyond our expectations

The only pub/restaurant within walking distance was closed and minimum taxi fare £25 each way for a 1 1/2 mile journey to the next closest. I found the bed a little too firm.

Peace and quiet, spotlessly clean, excellent continental breakfast selection and lovely tasty extras! Very pretty surroundings.

Not so much. Maybe no coffee machine, or mattress a bit thin, but it is a detail in regards to all the rest.

Almost everything. Lovely place, quite and friendly owners. Close to Petworth by walking through the park. Breakfast was very good. Ideal for short terms holidays. It was a great.

What a lovely B&B. Was greeted by one of the owners who gave us additional advice on places to visit over and above the information already provided in the room. The room itself was very clean and tidy with little extras that you may need too. Convenient spot for exploring the South Downs.

Bed a little firm for me, but my wife slept very well.

Friendly welcome, great choice for breakfast and plenty of it inc fresh fruit. Very quiet and nice to hear the dawn chorus.

It was slightly chilly in the room, however that might have been us not turning the radiator knobs the right way! it didn't spoil our stay.

Breakfast was continental and set up in the room which was great, cereals, fruit, juices, yoghurt etc..very well stocked. Spotless clean modern accommodation in a beautiful spot.

None. I knew in advance about the simple breakfast so it wasn’t a negative for me. And there were fresh strawberries, fruit juices and fresh milk in the fridge. The property does stand on a road, but I wasn’t bothered by noise at any time.

Lovely rural sertting in really idyllic area. Great pub nearby. The owners have thought of everything to provide a comfortable stay. They really have gone the extra mile. And you are just off a major road to the east.

Beautiful, clean property with all the amenities you could need. The fridge was packed with nice food and drink and the bed was big and comfortable. Steve and Ruth were both incredibly helpful and went above and beyond our expectations.

Everything really 😊!! Ruth & Steve were such lovely hosts and despite arriving very late, we were greeted with a very warm welcome and introduced to our lovely weekend nest! A lovely location surrounded by beautiful countryside whichever direction you choose to discover, each village nearby has wonderful pubs, stunning walks and exactly what we needed - a pleasurable, relaxing stay & an area of natural beauty which makes me proud of living in England ❤️

Absolutely nothing. A helpful suggestion for Steve, which we forgot to mention to him on leaving, would be to have a main room light switch immediately near the inside of the entrance door.

The attention to detail was immense. The thought that went into ensuring our safety was immense. The choice of food made available was excellent and the welcome from both Steve and Ruth was warm and friendly. Not having used them before, we would more than recommend them.

Suzy & I absolutely Loved our stay at Church combe 😊 Peaceful quiet 👌just what we needed for our break away.....A real Gem for anybody that stays. Our Room was absolutely spotless with lovely little extra touches from Ruth.....cakes strawberrys fruit & a stocked fridge with everything above and beyond for yr stay. Our host's Ruth & steve were Lovely,welcoming & very helpful to us both perfect 🙂 Couldn't ask for more from our host's 🙏

The bed was of poor quality. The walls between the room and the main house are quite thin and we could hear the owners in the evening.

The room was gorgeous and very clean, a nice place to relax. The breakfast in the room (due to covid), was plentiful and nicely selected. Room feels very cosy and private, with a small patio in front to enjoy if the weather allows. The location is very convenient, close to Petworth.

Nothing to report on, it was all in all a very nice place

The room was absolutely perfect for what I needed, very near to Petworth, off the main road and away from traffic noise, in reach to walks and AONB. Has its own private garden terrace with table and chairs, courtyard to clean bicycle and shoes, and inside was complete with breakfast, coffee/tea, fruits, bread, cereals and I was also amazed at the fridge contents (juices, milk, yoghurt, water bottles). The ensuite bathroom is a delight. I was charmed by all the small details. I will definitely pack much less next time I come back !
