The location was good, the hotel is next to the metro station, but the room was very small and dirty.

Location was brilliant as it was right next to train station and a high street. Good for a couple nights, but wouldn't go here for an extended stay. Bit expensive for what it is as it was a bit run down. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The rooms are a bit unkempt, damp. In need a very good clean. On our last morning (luckily) we were woken at 5:50am by the fire alarm. Everyone ran out into the hallway. The reception man didnt have a clue what was happening. Just poked his head out of his door looking at the alarm box, shrugging his shoulders when i asked if we need to leave. One guest rang a number on the outer door for advice. Was told they would look into it. Another guest managed to turn the alarm off. The alarm was saying ZONE 2. The reception man didn’t know where ZONE 2 was. No head count. No evacuation. No checking to make sure there was no fire. He just went back to his room. Surely this isnt right. Im just thankful there wasnt a fire & all guests were safe. I know we say ‘you get what you pay for’ which is fine. But the fire alarm/disregard was a bit much.

Location was excellent. Next door to the underground station and bus stop. A fantastic chippy 300 yards up the street, Chris' is recommended

The room is too small, it is not a French double bed. They need to deep clean this room for once. The only guy working there was never seen.

Bathroom and fridge were filthy. This was mentioned to the staff who took offence and then proceeded to neglect servicing our room for several days. My bed had a spring poking out of the mattress which resulted in a small puncture wound to my hip - but again no point in complaining as reprisals would be dealt.

Room was fine, walls are a little thin and some customers can be quite loud, bring ear plugs.. I did.

Convenient for work, plenty of shops, handy for tube.

It's right on the train station so it was a bit noisy (but we knew that before arriving so took ear plugs). We asked for a twin but got a double. The rooms are all up multiple flights of stairs and we were on the top floor with very steep stairs, which might've been a problem for anyone with mobility issues.

Decent price. Basic but clean. We stayed here for a gig so it was OK for one night. Lots of bars, cafes and shops very near by.

Really noisy (having the train so close by has its benefits, but you hear it loudly whenever it passes) Rooms would need a renovation (the bedsheets etc. were changed, bathroom was cleaned too, but overall, stuff was quite dirty & worn out)

Great location (literally few metres from metro station and bus stop) - easy to travel anywhere in the city; park right across the street; lots of shops, cafes, restaurants etc. around; charming area for strolls - step away from the main street and you're among lovely English houses on a tranquil walk Clean bedsheets & bedlinen + clean bathroom

Our room was only accessible by going behind the reception desk, it wasn’t the cleanest and our blinds were basically non existent

Didn’t expect much and it didn’t disappoint but it was quite noisy. Right on top of busy train tracks to one side and a busy road below. Shut the windows though and it wasn’t too bad

Look, it is what it is - you’re not paying top dollar so don’t expect the Ritz! Beds were comfortable, en suite was good and we slept well. Superb location - really basic room but had tea/coffee making facilities and en suite. Stayed there for a gig so was only there to sleep afterwards and had no issues!

Whilst great location for accessing tube, not so great for sleeping: think description could be a little more transparent, this is right next to overground tube line, never mind within 200ft! Don't be fooled into thinking all rooms are like pictured; booked a double but got twin beds pushed together, not quite the same. Very basic room; take shower gels/soap with you for shower as nothing provided apart from hand-wash for basin. Wouldn't say this was worth £99 a night even for London.

Location great for getting onto tube itself. Plenty of shops around. Staff member we did see was very pleasant and welcoming.
