Amazing breakfast, loads of choice. Really comfortable bed and room tastefully furnished. Quiet. Nothing too much trouble for all staff. Great base for exploring the city from.

Steep stairs, but it’s a very old building. Close to busy road with road works.

Great beer garden at the back. Nice breakfast first morning, with little pastries and some strawberries. Not available second morning.

Room was nice but some things were broken like the main tap in the bathroom was broken and could be twisted as wasn’t secure Shower looks like had a leak under door hence the old towel there but room was pleasant but a tad dated I’d say

Location was good and staff were very nice and could not fault anyone

My room overlooked the beer garden which was full on the summer evening, However, it was quiet as soon as the pub closed just after 11pm.

Ability to park in the free car park next to the property, the fact that it was an easy 12 minute walk from the theatre, the lovely cooked breakfast was included in the price, everything in the room was clean, and the staff were lovely.

The place is a little worn and old fashioned, but the service, food and location far outweighed that, far better than an anonymous modern hotel with indifferent staff and poor food.

Greeted with a smile and friendly service, great location for Chichester centre, excellent breakfast, parking included on site

A fan in the room would have been nice. It was just a little warm. But I would imagine on a really warm summer day, the room could be HOT

The inn was literally right in town so it was an easy walk to all the places. Nick the owner met us and helped us check in. The bar is terrific and the service was with a smile. Breakfast was AMAZING!!! The best English breakfast we ate by far while we were in the UK. Also the car park was a dream!!! Parking in Chichister is a pain in the neck. The car park for the inn is adjacent to the inn and it was free and plenty of room!!

The only reason I haven’t marked excellent for all categories is because the bathroom, particularly the shower, is a bit tight. However I appreciate the possibilities to change this are limited as it’s a listed building

The shower room was nicely kitted out with complimentary wash products but the shower itself was a bit useless!

Friendly staff. The room was very comfortable and it was nice to have tea/coffee facilities, a fan and plenty of storage which, for a one night stay, I didn't need, but good to have for a anyone on a longer visit. Breakfast was great! Good selection of food on offer - cereals, dried fruits, cooked options etc. The location was brilliant - 5 minutes walk to the centre of the City - Cathedral and shops and approx 15-20 minutes walk to the Festival Theatre. Great to have on site free parking. Nice pub garden.

The size of the bathroom was rather small compared to the size of the room and I didn't like the bare floorboards with no mat to step out of the bed on.

The hotel was very central to Chichester and easily accessible to the theatre. The staff were very helpful with our luggage as my husband is disabled. They carried it up to the room on arrival and back down on our day of departure. The food in the restaurant was nice and the breakfast exceptional. The bed was very comfortable.
