The location was in a residential area away from restaurants etc., way too far to walk, which meant driving or taking a taxi, but not a great problem. It was also not quite as close to the hospital as we had thought, but that was due either to a poor location map on Booking.com or to an error on our part when reading the map. A couple of minor issues: there was no bath mat for exiting the shower to avoid wetting the bathroom floor, but this could have been an oversight, and there was not a lot of room between the toilet and the shower cubicle. It wasn't a problem for us, but for someone on the taller side (over 5ft 6in) their knees would be pressed up against the cubicle.

The staff were very welcoming and happy to assist with enquiries as to where to dine, taxi numbers and permitting us to extend slightly our checkout time and to leave our vehicle on site for a couple of hours after checkout time due to a hospital appointment. The B&B is in a quiet, residential area - very nice. Our accommodation was in the garden wing, so only a few steps to negotiate (helpful, as I have some mobility issues, which they were aware of). The room with private ensuite (walk-in shower) was a decent size, comfortable, clean and modern, and everything worked. The towels (bath and hand towels for each person) were lovely - good quality and decent size, and the establishment provided nice hand soap and shower gel. Breakfast was in the main building and was ample, contained quality products and was freshly cooked - delicious!

The walls in the annex were perhaps quite thin so could hear what was happening next to me but it wasn’t a bother, just something I picked up on, and whoever were next to me were quiet and very respectful so didn’t become an issue.

It was located in a quiet street so it was peaceful and undisturbed during the night. I stayed in the annex building towards the back of the property which was perfect for me, nice and secluded. The room was lovely, bed comfortable and everything was really wonderfully cleaned. I paid a little extra for breakfast, which was delicious and the staff I spoke to were lovely, friendly, and really attentive. It felt cosy and personal.

Only problem with a place this good, it gets popular and difficult to book a room lol. I hope the price stays reasonable too, as it’s my first go to now when I stay in this area.

Spotless rooms, serviced regularly, wonderful views, everything in working order, welcoming and friendly host. Comfortable beds, I can’t fault it, and I’ve stayed in many hotels and B&B’s.

Upstairs neighbours came around midnight and could hear the steps, voices and later on snoring 😁 Lucky for me, it didn't last too long. For someone who is not as sensitive as myself, that would have been probably almost not noticeable 🙂

It seemed like a nice and peaceful area, no traffic or other street noise. Clean, decent size room, just right for one night. Comfortable bed, with sockets on both side of the bed. Electric shower. Clean towels and bedlinen. Kettle, coffee and sugar provided. Located not too far away from the centre, walking distance.

Driveway to overflow car park was very narrow and so you do need to be careful, but we appreciate you can only work with what you’ve got. Could do with a bathroom mat - we used a towel as we had one spare.

Good location as only 15 minutes walk to town centre which was useful as we had come for the theatre. Comfortable beds + a very quiet location = Very good nights sleep. Breakfast was good with selection of cereals, hot drinks and juices, toast and tasty full English. Full English wasn’t greasy either, so thumbs up there. Room was clean. Plenty of parking available. Carmen was able to accommodate a room change for us at time of booking. We wanted the garden room which was out of the way for coming back after an evening show.

The only thing I can mention and this is no way a criticism and just down to the lay out of the building is the bedroom was a little on the small side but still very adequate

This was a one night business trip and I chose the guest house as it was close to the work location. I had a friendly greeting and was informed I’d managed to over pay and was reimbursed immediately. The place is spotlessly clean and comfortable and the breakfast was well cooked full English with lots of choice of cereal, yogurts tea and coffee as well, if I need to revisit this area this guest house will be my first choice to stay at
