Coffee machine wasn’t working in the breakfast room ~ would’ve loved a latte with my pastry. Minor issue really in the grand scheme of life.

Quite a few moths in the room, and evidence that previous guests squished them. Also, the photo's of the hotel from the outside look fantastic, but the reality is it does not look like that.

Facilities, Bed, Location were all great. Breakfast was very good. Staff were attentive and nice.

The bedroom was small, to the extent that you couldn't physically walk down one side of the double bed. The shower changed from hot to cold, and back again, on a whim. The signal for the free WiFi was non-existent. I was told it would be fixed, but it wasn't. The pool wasn't open, although nothing in the literature we were given on arrival indicated this.

Location was close to Cheltenham, about 40 minutes walk or 5 minutes in the car or on a bus.

was really disappointed that the pool was unavailable due to maintenance work, if I had known that sooner, (booked the room 2 days before stay) i would have chosen a different hotel. Noise from the pub delivery next door at 5.55am. minimal toietries, not enough coffee in room.

very nice hotel, ample parking, evening meal was ok, had burger and chips, burger was very very well done and came with fries. Guinness, £7 a pint. very quite room however, quite a distance away from reception, closer to the pub next door. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. complimentary cookie on check-in

This was our 4th stay at the hotel and we have always found the breakfast really good. This time it was disappointing, no tea pots, only one coffee machine, very poor choice of pastries and yoghurts. Very few tablets clean and set up for use.

The location is really good for the Cotswolds. Hotel is quiet.staff friendly and helpful.

Bit outdated, cold room, radiator did not come on, seemed like sleeping in the basement. Breakfast items are limited. Items such as plain croissants and chocolate were not brought out until 9:00 am. Disappointing.

Lack of in room tea coffee etc, 4 of those small but pots 4 2 people you need at least 5 for 1 drink. Tea/coffee tray not well stocked. We had half board but there was much confusion about what was included in evening meal. Spa was very tired looking changing room floors dirty hair all over floor lockers not working rust very neglected.

Some of the basic finishing in the bathroom wasn't great and there was a miserly amount of shower gel which wasn't topped up. There was a problem with the coffee machine on both mornings which meant the only coffee option tasted like instant coffee from a flask.

Cheltenham is a very nice place, worth a visit. We would go there again. Hotel was OK. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food at breakfast was good and there was a good variety, it wasn't cheap though. The bed was comfortable. There is a fitness area but we didn't have time to use it so can't comment on how good it is. Parking was included.

The garden needed some attention, not like the picture. Hanging baskets needed refreshing all dead, and high dead weeds around the lake. We were going to sit in the pagoda as it was a nice day but it was very dirty and also parts of the hotel need updating especially the entrance to the property from the side car park.

Room was lovely and they decorated the bed with petals and towels heart shaped for our anniversary.

Toilet space was tiny. Bath taps didn't work. Bar stock was a little low.

Nothing particularly. I thought that the standard of the hotel was OK. The staff at check in though were pleasant. Location was poor; room was average. View, well there wasn't one.

THe room did not have enough space for 2 Guests to unpack their suitcases and hang up their clothes. It was too compact and budget-like. Had difficulty connecting to the wifi. The "Lake" needs attention, it resembles an overgrown pond. No dressing gowns provided so had to get dressed between bedroom and Spa. For price would expect a white towling dressing gown to be provided for guest's use.

The breakfast was good. Was able to easily park in the car park. I liked the chocolate biscuite given on arrival. Enjoyed the Spa facilities.
