Chelston Dene Holiday Apartments is an excellent place to stay in Torquay. The room is very neat and had everything we needed. The location is very close ( average of about 10 minutes walk) to the beach, train station, restaurants, and other amenities. The host, Steve, was very nice and welcoming. He gave us vital information on restaurants and the activities to do during our stay. I would highly recommend Chelston Dene Holiday Apartments.

Lovely friendly welcome from the owner. Apartment 2 under main house entrance and view to backyard garden was which nice. Milk in fridge to get us started. Very clean. Quiet area. Off street parking was great. Good location close walk to train station and waterfront.

The bedside tables were small and flimsy and easily toppled over,no room for anything with a lamp on it .

We stayed here as a family of 4 (2 teenagers) and our collie. I rang ahead as we had been stuck in traffic and were coming late. The owner was very accommodating. The accommodation was very near the front. The grounds were lovely and had everything we needed in the apartment. Everything was to a good standard. I was a little bit weary of the pull out bed. But it was so comfy. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The property is lovely and has all the basic things we needed for our short stay. The only thing that was of little discomfort was the fact that it was very cold all the time. I didn’t bring any warm under garments thinking it was spring time, which was a mistake. But I would pack a pair of snuggly slippers next time if we were to go back again and warm clothes.

The property is in a great location and surrounded by trees, and it only takes a short walk to the beach. However, it had been raining the whole week, which limited our chances to walk around the area. But, we still enjoyed our time despite the weather.

We would have liked a couple of extra mugs & bowls but the kitchen was actually well supplied otherwise.

The room was larger, brighter & airier than we expected and the view was brilliant - a pleasant surprise!

It was a bit cold in the room, but we could adjust the radiator /temperature and wore extra layers.

Very clean and comfortable beds set in a quiet area. The location is very close to the train station and bus stops, making it very handy. Be prepared to climb up the hill though, which is good exercise! My room had a lovely view of the bay which was great at night time when the colourful lights were lit. The apartment is not far from the bay, and we went for walks along the beachfront and adjoining green space. We arrived very early, almost 2 hours earlier than official check-in time. I called Steve and asked if we could come over and leave our bags. He invited to check in because the room was ready and no need to wait. That was so unexpected and super kind!
