Beautiful decor. Very clean. Loved self serve breakfast with a great supply of breakfast foods.Table tennis a lovely bonus. Free on site parking. Lovely welcome when we arrived.

Good location- very handy for train which we wanted to get easy access to Nottingham city centre. Nice and quiet location. Staff very friendly. Really liked the shared kitchen -excellent facilities and flexibility

The area was lovely but not ideal for our stay.

The house is so pretty! The hosts were friendly and our stay was great. The room was cosy and clean and facilities were above expectations! The bed was comfortable and the bedroom was tastefully decorated. The breakfast was self serve which we think is ideal. Plenty of choice too. We would definitely stay again.

It said breakfast included so we assumed it would be a cooked breakfast but it wasn't. I can't have milk so I usually have yogurt on my cereal and there wasn't any so I thought I would cook myself a soft boiled egg after 10 mins I cracked open the egg and it was raw the machine didn't work so I just had toast.

Was in a really good location decent sized carpark the room was very clean and offered everything that we needed for the stay. I really liked the decor of the bathroom and the homely touches. If I'm being picky I would have liked food to be available at the property but wasn't a massive issue as we just drove the 5 minutes into town and got something for tea. There is breakfast itams available for the morning after. The room was hot but to be expected this time of year but was overall an excellent stay and will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

Road was busy and quite noisy. A little impersonal - we arrived without knowing how to get in despite messaging in advance but fortunately the guest door was open and bumped into host inside briefly; then didn’t see anyone again. No reception or point of obvious contact. Breakfast was ‘make your own’- choice of cereal, sliced loaves of bread, packet pain au chocolate and drinks provided in a kitchen area, but not ‘set out’ or laid out. Again, a little impersonal but understandable for the cost. Nowhere to sit comfortably in rooms or kitchen area if you want your relax or socialise. Occasionally felt like you were intruding in someone’s home.

Lovely old property- accommodation was a wing of owner’s home. Comfortable room and en-suite with TV, tea and coffee with kettle and small TV. Good location - opposite an industrial estate but set back from the road and surrounded on 3 sides by fields. Lovely gazebo outside to make the most of the fresh air and fields around if the weather is good. Extremely good value for money - our two rooms on a Monday night cost only slightly more than one room in other properties. Loved the D.H.Lawrence connection. Good WiFi connection. Gym equipment provided in a separate room.

The bathroom light was on a sensor that was set to switch off after a matter of seconds. We figured out there is a second light above the mirror, so best to use that one instead.

Warm welcome on arrival with all the information we needed. Clean and modern room, the DIY breakfast was also all we needed. Close to M1 so ideal for a short stop-off and plenty in the area to keep you busy.

Our room was very small for a double, the bed was also small and pushed up against a side wall making it difficult to get up during the night. Our pillows were uncomfortable too.

The light in the bathroom went off multiple times while having a shower which was tricky to then find the door handle of the shower cubicle and wave until the light came on (I was in the shower for about 10 minutes). There was no bin in the room so you had to store the tea bags and milk cartons in a mug to take to the breakfast room, a small bin would help. A dishwasher in the breakfast room would be nice so you don't have to wash up.

Location was good with easy access to the city, building was gorgeous and parking was good. Room was compact and bathroom was nice and clean. The person who was there on arrival was warm, friendly and very helpful.

The only downside was noise from upstairs. I could hear someone walking/running in the room above during the evening and once during the night which did wake me up
