There was nothing not to like.

The accommodation was perfect. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Everything you would need for a stay. There was bread, butter, jam, marmalade, tea, coffee, milk and a big bag of my favourite crisps. A very nice touch. Thank you.

Loved everything about this property lovely and clean the owners are very welcoming and approachable. Loved the location of the property set in a nice quiet village not far from coastal areas like skegness and cleethorpes.

Wheelwright Rest is an excellent property located in lovely village.Everything supplied for what you need for a home from home .The most cleanest Holiday home I ever stop at. The Owner’s have surpassed themselves in everything you need and are very helpful .We loved this place so much that we are booking for next year

A modern tastefully decorated immaculate property. Ideal for a stay for two and with everything you could possibly need. A welcome package was a lovely thought. Near the Lincolnshire Wolds, nice walks and lots to do and see, all within a 45 minute drive and many a lot closer.

A small chair in the bedroom would have been useful.

Location was fine, and the property was excellent, my only problem was my mobile phone didn't work very well inside the property. The cottage was very clean and well equipped.

Everything about wheelwrights rest is perfect, JUST WRIGHT!... Home from home, everything u may need. Clean, spacious. Welcome pack was lovely. Milk, butter, bread and treats to settle in. Would highly recommend.

This was our second stay and it excelled again. The cottage is so clean and comfortable and situated in a beautiful village along a quiet lane. It had everything we needed and had a very welcome pack on our arrival including the staples of bread, milk and butter. It is situated within easy access to explore the area but, if you just want to relax, there are games and a selection of books to read. We look forward to a third stay when we are next in the area.

Very clean with good off road parking. Fast internet access. Well equipped and great location to explore Lincolnshire Wolds and Coast. Helpful hosts. Lovely short walk to local pub.

It was an excellent property. Just perfect for a quiet getaway for 2. It was very clean throughout and the owner had thought of everything that would be needed. We wanted for nothing. Nice welcome pack too. How kind. Would highly recommend and would definitely return. 😁

Karen, the host is a great communicator and helped with suggestions for local food, pubs etc. Her husband is a painter and decorator and it shows. Tastefully decorated and furnished, everything you need to hand.

Didn't quite master turning down the thermostat despite instructions. Probably should have checked with host during stay.

Furnishings and interior were tasteful and of excellent standard. Warm and cosy, which was much needed in January. Provision of small food items, tea, coffee was very much appreciated. 10 minutes to an excellent pub.

We both found the bed a bit awkward but that may be age-related (us, not the bed!) I am quite short and have some arthritis. I found it rather high. We are used to a wider bed but that criticism relates to our personal requirements and does not reflect a lack of provision on the part of the host. It is a full size double, very new, with a good quality mattress and a selection of pillows and cushions - absolutely perfect for the majority of guests, I expect.

The comfort and convenience were key but the attractiveness and beautiful taste of the host made the experience extra enjoyable. Fixtures and fittings were immaculate. Karen's instructions, advice, helpful hints were all really important and meant there was no need to disturb her. Her thoughtfulness shines through, from the delicious plum-bread and other supplies provided, to the little notecards in key places, information book and write-on whiteboard with the latest news (seal pups at Donna Nook!)
