Spartan, but clean facilities. Not really a B&B, as the experience is contactless, and breakfast is well short of continental. For the price i'd expect a little more in that department, however Skye is expensive no matter how you cut it.

Sea side view was amazing, although due to rain we couldn't get the best out of it. Host has been attentive to detail. Placing the Guitar, Scottish traditional outfit, sharing flyers/booklets on Isle of Sky attractions, storing milk in the fridge, coffee/tea arrangement are some to mention.

James is such a nice guy. My partner and I ended up spending over an hour chatting with him over a drink in the evening. He provided lots of helpful tips for visiting the area and we had a nice time exchanging stories.

Wash basin is too small. Unable to use it for washing face/brush teeth. No hangers for clothes, would be great if there are some hooks for hanging clothes.

If you are looking for privacy, that might be an issue, but if not it's actually nice to socialize with the other guest over a glass of whiskey. Breakfast was limited, but sufficient. Coffee and tea available throught the day.

Great view from over a sleepy village. The host (James) was very knowladgeable and had great recommendations for our stay. Close to the Talisker brewery and a pub is nearby. Would love to stay there again to explore the rest of the isle.

The mattress is old and saggy and needs to be replaced. Another thing to note is there is only one restaurant in the town so make reservations early in the morning if you plan to eat there as it fills up very quickly and there is no other place to eat in town.

If you are walking to the bar take a light with you, dark on the way home. Basis breakfast food Oatmeal and drinks, these are extras as this is not advertised as a BnB, so thank for that

Friendly hosts, who was there if you needed them. Sitting area with TV and games. Outdoor seating area with built in whiskey dispensers. We were in an en suite room which suited our needs. Good decor with local information. Good value for money. Nice view over the water.

There is no access to the kitchen directly without asking the owner, which can make it difficult to cook meals

The owner of the place was amazingly nice, thank you again for giving us a ride and accommodating us when possible!! Small house, very clean and cosy, perfectly located for walks away from the touristic attractions

For the money paid, I thought I was going to a hotel, not a B&B. Limited breakfast - bread and other items but no toaster for example. I knew it was a shared bathroom.

Hospitality. Helpful. Eccentricity. Generosity of a selections of self help alcoholic beverages in the front garden. I didn't partake as I was the driver.

The smell was a little bit off at the beginning, I think the building is old, but it didn’t bother me that much. The heater in the bathroom was crazy hot if You touched it felt like burning. The bathroom was super small, but enough.

We liked the view from the window, the warmth of the room, easy getting in, the common room, the welcome drink, sheeps around, the Scotish style all around.

No cooking facilities at the time of our stay which meant we had to eat at the local pub which was walking distance but absolutely mobbed, average food & expensive

It was a great location - just a short walk to a pub overlooking the water. There was great food, music and lots of welcoming people. The owner called me with very clear instructions as to how enter the property. And of course the Tallisker Distillery is very close by. A very simple self serve breakfast was available.
