We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

I loved how close we were to the front and shops in the town. The breakfast I’ve gotta say can’t explain how stunning that was. Easy parking too, the stay at the Cedar Lodge was well above our expectations. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to family and friends. I loved all the cute extras in our room. United KingdomSimon and Tracy were exceptional hosts. Room was clean, comfortable and had black out curtain/blinds. Breakfast was top notch. I had full English one day and smoked salmon and scrambled eggs the next both were superb! My husband was even more elated as there was black pudding included. Ingredients were high quality in all breakfast no scrimping or scrapping here. Everything was to a very high standard. Would stay again in a heart beat! Thank you for a lovely stay x

This is a great place to stay. Tracey and Simon are lovely hosts. Everywhere is extremely clean and comfortable. Our room and bathroom were spacious with everthing you need for your stay. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious with plenty of options. The location is really good and there is parking at the front. We have stayed here a few times and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Cedar Lodge was really clean, and the owners were friendly and helpful. We all enjoyed our breakfast which was cooked beautifully no matter which dish we ordered (we all ordered different dishes). The property is in a good location, and was not to far from all the places of interest, while still being in a quiet location.
