The only area that let it down was the corridor on the ground floor to our room (rotor 102) and the doors to the rooms and doors in the room need refurbished to be in keeping with the rest of the hotel. I’m sure this is next on their list too so 🙂

Would have preferred a separate shower- much easier than over the bath.

We had been told prior to our visit that there was an event on both nights of our stay, meaning the restaurant was unavailable. We dined out the first night but were able to dine in on our 2nd night thanks to 2 members of staff.

The hotel was well maintained, the food was excellent, and the staff were pleasant and approachable. It was an easy walk into the centre of Harrogate

Shame there weren't bottles of water in the room

The breakfast was good, plenty of choice and nice you could go and help yourself. The location was about 10 mins walk to the centre and plenty of parking at the hotel. The room was clean and had a nice view.

The reception area didn’t feel a welcoming set up, despite the receptionist been friendly and approachable.

The staff accommodated my request by leaving complementary chocolates and a postcard to celebrate our stay for my partners birthday. It was a really nice touch. The staff in Ambers bar were really pleasant. Overall we were both really happy with the experience.

The safety deposit book didn’t work which was unexpected, and the rooms could use more draw space. The breakfast service was really good but if you didn’t arrive early I found the plates and the breakfast were not hot.

The room was very pleasant with a view of the garden the bed very comfortable. I did think while the en-suite was good it was a little dated with minor things needing attention.

Loved the room. Spacious & nice to relax in. My 2 boys loved the room, as it has bunk beds & a huge bay window with a lovely view. Bathroom was clean & a decent size. Plenty of space in the main bedroom & access to Disney+, bbc iplayer etc on the TV. Breakfast was also very good. Great stay.

The lounge, bar and other ground floor areas had been refurbished and updated so looked lovely and had been decorated to a high standard. The bedroom however, seemed basic and in need of refurbishment/ decorating. It was clean enough but there was marks on a wall, some marks on the thin carpet and the bath panel was sticking out just a slight amount. The bed was comfortable enough but could feel some springs in it. Feels like should have gotten a better room for the price. I do really appreciate the staff leaving chocolates for my mother for her birthday and a glass of free Procecco on arrival. That was a nice touch.

Would have been nice to have a small fridge in room

We received a warm welcome. It was my husband's 65th birthday and chocolates were left in the room, which we thought was a lovely gesture. Breakfast was delicious.
