There is a bright security light that floods through the toilet window when you least expect it!!

This listing gave me absolutely everything I needed for my work trip. On top of the excellent facilities, the owner gave me excellent friendly advice about nearby restaurants and shops. This is a great accommodation choice for the Sunderland / North East.

No welcome as owners were away but was still nice but dog dirt on back garden grass when there was still there when we left .large garden lovely to be able to have sat out if we had took chairs with us dis’s appointment was could not put car on drive had to park on the road

Its quite a long way from the beach and shops, althoguht there is a co-op just round the corner

Cute studio room in a single storey space beside the owners home with your own entrance. Quiet, secure, clean. Fresh milk in the fridge was a nice surprise. Lovely owner - I couldnt get in on the side gate as I wasnt following her instructions properly and she was very patient when I phoned up.

The bed was smaller than I’m used to so was abit of a squeeze but due to the property size and layout couldn’t be helped but was comfortable enough, I would just add a sanitary bin in the bathroom as a women I would have benefited from this instead of having to either put sanitary items in the room bin or walk to the front for the outside bin but otherwise the property was absolutely spot on for our needs.

Smelt amazing when first walked in very clean but fresh smelling , they went to extra length of providing fresh flowers and milk on entrance. We was left alone but aware of there presence if needed and had a welcome message prior to arrival . The hosts was well mannered and friendly.

There wasn’t a thing I didn’t like.

It was well presented, clean and tastefully decorated. It had everything I needed, good to have a fridge, kettle, microwave etc The little extras, tea coffee, milk and toiletries etc were well received too thank you. Access was easy and property very private and quiet.

Brilliant accommodation and excellent hosts. I stayed here for nearly 3 weeks whilst doing exams at South Shields College and can't thank the family enough for having me. Cosy, quiet and comfortable accommodation, close to nearby shops, metro stop and especially the college. Would recommend this accommodation to anyone and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Excellent location for visiting my family. Maria was very helpful and the room was exactly what I required, clean and modern. Breakfast wasn’t provided but I knew this in advance so it wasn’t an issue. I would definitely stay here again.

Immaculate room and very modern finish ideal for a overnight stay had everything I needed fridge kettle toaster microwave iron etc lovely comfortable bed great shower and easy access to property also had the room earlier than checking in time from host Marie which was great fir my trip definitely recommend can't fault the property

The hostess was very friendly and checked to ensure I was happy with the accomodation and comfortable. The coffee etc. left for drinks was extremely generous. The owner of the property went beyond my expectations to ensure my stay was good.
