Very noisy early in the morning due to roadworks starting nearby .Which was not the hotels fault

Superb location. Building was old/historic quirky and had a lot of character - wonky floors and old windows but charming and the staff were excellent.

Access to the car park through the arch is very tight and manoeuvrings thereafter tricky.

Lovely room with access from the car park. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice. The lady who welcomed us and served breakfast was lovely.

Their private parking was no issue for me - I drive a small car, but anything wider than 1.9m (wing mirrors folded in), and a turning circle more than 11 meters radius and you'll struggle....

A lovely friendly team who made sure we could self-check in (we arrived late in the day) and made our stay so very enjoyable. Breakfast was to die for - honestly one of the very best I've had at a guest house like this. Paul and Christina have done a super job with the place, which is dripping in features and soaked in history yet meets the 21st Century requirements we all need. We go to Linciln a couple of times per year and will stay again

I had room 3 which had a private bathroom but not ensuite. Whilst not ideal this was okay

Breakfast and service was fantastic. Room was also good. Fantastic to have free parking included. I enjoyed my stay.

We loved that the guest was quirky and not like your average guest house, the staff was very friendly and attentive , a minute away from the cathedral and close to lots of restaurants

Booked for my daughter and boyfriend. Here's their review: Great location, a very short walk from the Cathedral, Castle, and Steep Hill. Our room (room 2) with ensuite was lovely and clean. Breakfast was tasty with lots of variety and plenty of options for my partner, who's vegetarian. Paul was super friendly and helpful, and all staff made us feel very welcome. We really enjoyed our stay.

Staff very accommodating with additional requests. Fabulous location a stone’s throw away from castle cathedral etc.

The mattress was a little on the soft side for us.

Excellent location really close to the cathedral. A comfortable large room which was nicely cool on a hot summers day. An excellent breakfast. Accommodated our bikes as well.

Stairs and door opening would have been very difficult for folk less than fit. Other than that fine.

Breakfast was very good and staff very helpful. Location was exceptional for anyone visiting historic Lincoln although Cathedral View a bit of a misnomer for most rooms

Breakfast was excellent. There was lots of choice from full English to fruit and yoghurt and everything in between. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable. You couldn't really ask for a better location. Lincoln is a lovely city to visit.

The location is really perfect. The staff are some of the friendliest and happiest we have encountered - nothing seems a problem. The room was very clean and there was a lot of choice for breakfast.

The spacious room and the cleanliness including the wonderful period decor. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were so warm and welcoming. Every effort to go above and beyond for our stay to be wonderful was done.
