It seemed either in the process of starting or ending.

It was just off the motorway in a very pleasant area just a few miles from Sheffield. The hotel is a little sparce, the staff are extremely helpful. The room lacked bedside tables, the bathroom was very clean, hairdryer has to be asked for. We didn't need breakfast but not certain it is available.

I was apprehensive at first based on some of the reviews. However, we weren't in the room much. The room is quite dated however and there are no plug sockets by the beds, which I guess is to be expected with older rooms. The curtains weren't black out so as soon as the sun was up it filled the room with light. WiFi wasn't the best (not so much a problem for me but more so for my son)

The room was a good size The room was clean Good connections to local amenities Good price per night Nice biscuits with tea and coffee facilities. Shower was hot. The hotel is being renovated, so be good to see what happens with it.

Booked two rooms .. one was lovely but the other smelled like a mouse cage imo, however they gave our party a different room which was fine. Corridors and reception area were clean. The hotel is going through some restorations .

Eerily quiet. The window was left ajar but luckily we noticed so were able to secure the room.

Pleasantly surprised by how clean, comfortable & quiet the hotel was having read some of the previous reviews. The staff we came across were courteous. It was very quiet, almost like a ghost hotel. Everything worked ie TV, shower, kettle etc & the sheets & towels were crisp & fresh. We didn't have the breakfast so cant comment. I wouldn't be surprised if homeless people were being housed there but whoever they were they were no problem. Good value for money.

the window in the room would not close meaning there was a draught, the heating did not work and all we had in the room was a portable electric heater, reported the window issue to staff but not sure what they tried to do as the window remained open for our stay

The undesirable clients stood outside smoking and drinking. Hot water took around 20 minutes to heat in the morning for a shower.

Love the staff. Nothing is too much trouble. At the time I stayed there wasn't access to a bar or restaurant so they offered me menus to order food. They took it in at reception for me and also my Amazon packages. They also allowed me to park my coach in their large carpark for free. Great staff, thank you.

The hotel was very run down and needs alot of work the bar/coffee hatch was empty had no stock but we did get a coffee made for us seems like homeless people and refugees are staying there

The fire alarm went off at 3:30am waking me and the other guest up, staff said there was a glitch on the system and this continued another two times within the next half an hour. Then lots of people talking and wondering up and down the corridor not sure if it was a real alarm or not. No form of apology when leaving in the morning. Wallpaper is a bit run down but not a major issue, quite outdated furniture etc but again did the job they needed to do

It’s was fine, basic hotel room, tv worked. Staff were nice Comfy and warm bed The security within the hotel, needing to use the key to enter the floor I was on on the hotel as well as the room made me feel a higher level of security
