Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomI booked the location next to St Pancras Station for an early start with the Eurostar to Brussels. That was all that mattered, the hotel has basic facilities, I suppose. I did not have breakfast as I left early and do not know if breakfast is even available. The room was very basic and the furniture cheap, old.

United Kingdomon arrival told quiet room was in other building up 3 flights of stairs - didn't want to take it as thought it would be hot and carrying bag up narrow windy steps did not appeal. The staff did not tell me about the lack of wifi connection in my room - spent 30 mins trying to connect and even when went to front desk the staff didn't seem aware that it doesn't work in room 11

United KingdomThe lady on reception when we arrived was very rude although a guy appeared from the back office and was very nice. The room was down some steep steps and the lighting wasn't brilliant so wouldn't recommend for anyone with mobility issues.
The room was basic but what I expected for the money. It was spotlessly clean and the water was really hot with good water pressure in the shower. Ideal for 1 or 2 nights. The location was good for the tube/train station.

The guy who checked us in was very nice but the three ladies around the desk the next day didn’t even greet us and would have frozen hell over. We weren’t told about any facilities so I assume they had none.

United Kingdomthe place could do with some upgrading. It look soo run down. We were staying in room nbr 5, the room smell mouldy as we enter. There is no natural air flowing just a ventilation fan. The toilet was soo small that you don’t even have room to fall. The light keep turning off while you are having shower, cause the position of the light is away from the shower space, I think cause the lights are motions activated. When you turn on the ceiling fan in the room it is soo loud.

United StatesI would rate this property as a 1 star hotel even it’s rated 3 stars hotel. The room is very small and no air conditioner. Do not stay at this hotel if you travel during summer time. They just provided 2 body towels only per room. The bathroom was smelled terrible when we check in. We have to tell the front desk to clean it again.
The location is very close to the underground and train station. It’s very convenient to access to everywhere in London.
