It could have done with a toaster/grill, but it wasn't too much of an issue as we just bought some cereal.

Gorgeous pod. It was a lot bigger than we thought. Very clean and facilities were good. Originally, we had an issue with somewhere to park, but once we asked, they allowed us to park down the side, which was great. The views were beautiful, nice, and peaceful.

Mirror hanging over the sink kept swinging so literally didn’t matter if you moved it still swung right over the bathroom sink. I’d have like patio furniture on the decking. Not enough glasses. More info on whether you’re allowed to use hot tub etc

It’s quaint location away from anywhere. The view out the back of the patio (no 3) was spectacular. It was also generally super clean!!

Everything was fantastic! Only recommendations would be a toaster in the pod, some furniture on the decking so you can sit out and different stools inside pod, as they keep falling over.

It was the first time I had been away on my own and I had the best time! Carlton Manor is away from any big roads and other properties. The countryside there is quite flat so you have glorious views and lots of big sky to see. The pods were honestly perfect, so clean, warm, and well equipped - the bed was like sleeping on a cloud! The owners/managers went above and beyond to help me with problems with my TV and offered an extra night free of charge because of it and my pod wasn't quite ready when I arrived (I was a bit early anyway). I can't wait to return! Thank you!

There was only a small shaving mirror in the bathroom- made it difficult to get ready when hair drying and applying makeup. I had packed a small mirror so was glad of it! Would be fab if outdoor decking seating was provided!

The pods were neat and very clean, the linen was great and the size of the pod was perfect for a family of 4!

The chairs are very dangerous to use. They aren't for children, so we sat on our picnic blanket on the floor. I can't get the shower colder, it was too hot.

The pod was very nice and clean. The beds are very comfortable. Our 3 years old and 7 years old kids loved the pod. The host provided everything you need in the kitchen area.

The only thing I have complain about is it was windy and at the end we’re the double bed is there was a constant banging which I think could of been a branch or something but apart from that it was all good

Like other people have said, some instructions would have been useful for the combined oven, grill and microwave, as well as the TV. WiFi was intermittent at best, and we could only get it in bed. There need to be signs from the road saying where the pods are.

This is the best pod we have ever stayed in. There was everything we needed for a really comfortable stay. Unlike other pods, which are glorified sheds, this was a home from home. The weather wasn't kind to us, but the pod was warm and cosy. The mattress was better than mattresses you get in hotels. There was plenty of really practical storage (despite other comments I've read). Martin was lovely, too. The location is perfect for a peaceful retreat. We had a beautiful view over open fields, and the night sky was stunning. The Railway Inn is great for food.

I wasn't happy with the pod we were given - wasn't clean enough for my liking. I got in touch with someone who apologised and moved us to a bigger pod which was much cleaner. Good customer service.

The scratchy blanket, I know it’s wool but it was scratchy 🙈 We couldn’t find the wifi code but used 4G Hope you introduce hot tubs in time they would be a super addition.

Loved the location, interior and facilities compared to a Welsh pod we stayed in you had much more thank you. Lovely cosy pod with all you could need, super views of open fields and fairy lights on the evening. Everything was spotless it was lovey and warm, parking was good, thank you for a lovely stay.

This beautiful getaway pod was perfect for our one night escape. In a remote setting, we still had a short ‘one mile’ drive amenity to a nearby shop and local fish shop. With a 8 minute drive to the seafront, it gave us the perfect spot within the small town of Aldbrough for a dog walk along the coastal path. The pod was quiet, tranquil, and over looked amazing views across the farmland. It was clean, tidy, cozy and perfect when leaving the busy day to day schedule. Would love to come back and the host was attentive with our booking communications and on site when we met. Thank you.

Carlton manor pods were perfect for our family weekend away, the pods had everything we needed. They were modern and clean and had just the right facilities for what we needed. It's so peaceful and the surroundings are beautiful. The pods are a few minutes drive from the nearest village Aldbrough where there's a lovely pub the George and dragon we ate at, the food was amazing. Mappleton beach is also only a short drive and is lovely for a long walk. We will definitely be returning.
