To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

GermanyStudio Nr.1 is a little small for 3 people. The third bed is not comfortable and there was no pillow for this bed.
The Studio was very clean and was super central. The Owners are really easy to contact and communication overall was very friendly.

United KingdomThe bathroom needs some maintenance. The toilet seat is coming off and there is a leak under the bathroom floor so water disconcertingly squelches up between the tiles. The third bed is a VERY uncomfortable sofa bed and although we were told bedding would be provided this consisted only of a pillow and duvet with no duvet cover or bed sheets! The flat really isn’t big enough for 3 people.

ItalyFor three people it's really a little too tight. There was only one roll of toilet paper available. A small roll... maybe I would leave at least two available. There were only two towels instead of three, but after reporting it they correctly proceeded to bring us two more. I would make sure to have more towels available, maybe even one for the face and I would provide a hair dryer (it would be convenient). But obviously it is not a hotel, so we realise the situation.
The location is really great. Literally around the corner there is the Bank metro stop, but the apartment is so well positioned that there is no chaos or exaggerated noises (you are still in London). They allowed us to enter the room at 14 instead of 16, which is much appreciated! For two people it is really the ideal accommodation! Clean, cosy bed, a huge window that gives so much light. The room is not very big, but there is everything you need, a small kitchen with a dishwasher and even a washing machine! Same thing for the bathroom, small but functional. You are in the middle of the commercial city, but during the weekend the offices are closed so there is peace and tranquillity. In 15 minutes on foot you are at the tower bridge! We will definitely be back (maybe only in two)

Seems to be newly refurbished as the built in microwave still had the manual inside and the paint smelled fresh. It was smaller than expected but was just fine for the 3 of us considering we did spend most of our time outside of the flat nonetheless I'd definitely stay here again when I'm next in the area

United States of AmericaThis is not for 3 adults!! The room was small which was expected but the chair the 3rd adult was supposed to sleep on is a joke. The room was cold, there was not enough hot water, the blinds were broken. There is a loud bar next door. All in all it was a very uncomfortable and expensive stay. It seems that there is a history of reviews with the same complaints and no changes have been made to remedy them.
The location is very central. Close to tube stops, restaurants, sites, etc.
