Staff seem to be trying their best, but appear to be few and under pressure. I tried to book the restaurant for an evening meal and was told the kitchen was ‘broken’ and not serving evening meals. However, on the day, we saw that guests were eating meals in the restaurant. Confusing.

The bar was not open to the time we were told to at midnight on the Saturday on check in and closed at 10:25pm. when trying to order a drink before the bar closed we were treated as if it was a crime drinks were ordered and that is not good customer service. I would also say the break fast was below standard we are used to having stayed here before. The bacon in particular was not nice at all.

The hotel was really nice the room was clean and everything working properly, the window was very thin however and could hear even quiet conversations from people passing by. We were interrupted 3 times in our room through staff knocking and then immediately walking into our room, although very apologetic once seeing we were in there, the lock on the door did not work. We also chose to dine at the hotel, the food was good, however only having two of the meals available on the menu was ridiculous and not having chips or salad wasn’t ideal either.

Lack of parking

Quiet clean comfortable hotel Parking was a but lacking and we ended uo having to pay to park local. So close to ovo for gig was great.

Draft beer no on both times I stayed here. So same issue second time within 3 months. It could do with some modernisation and we also found a clump of hair in the bathroom as soon as we arrived.

I like this hotel, The location is ideal. Basically, 2 min walk to the Hydro. Staff are friendly, food ok but not much to pick from the menu.. I'm already booked up for next visit back at the Hydro in few months

There seems to be some management and staffing issues. We booked an accessible room with walk in (accessible) shower 3 months in advance but it was not available (?). Fortunately, our party member could manage the step into the shower. One bathroom had no lights working. It took two visits to reception for someone to come and look at it .It then worked for 1 hour and then went off again .We reported it again but no repairs or visit. The room wasn't cleaned when requested and then cleaned when we didnt really want it! Individual members of staff pleasant.

Free parking available. Accessible with mobility scooter and staff happy to help with inside parking. Good breakfast available but booking night is cheaper (11) if not included in booking. Good location very near river .Nice walks. Good Indian restaurant nearby..and McDonald's for late arrivals

The room was dirty the corridors not cleaned very well. The outside area carpark etc not cleaned, Got sick of hearing empty cans blowing up the carpark. General lack of maintenance throughout the building. We were there for an event at the Hydro we went to the Bar after around 10.40 for a last drink as did others the staff complaining that the bar should be closed and walked off leaving about 10 people standing there without being served. Management need to go from room to room and fix all the faults, then employ some staff that actually want to work there.

The Location was perfect for the Hydro. The breakfast room and Bar area were all nice and clean.

The fact that my room wasn't available until just after 5pm. We received a free drink at the bar. Our concert door opened at 6pm and we weren't even out the room by then due to it not being ready for a 3pm check in
