Like so many places, there are no hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes or damp towels. The towel rail is not large enough to hang large towels for 3 people. We would have liked a separate recycling bin in the kitchen as we know Cambridge provides household recycling.

The apartment is bright and modern with everything that we needed and is very clean. There's a designated parking space near to the entrance. We found that the Tesco Extra, a few minutes walk away, had everything that we needed for a short stay. Unlike many places, the cooker was easy to use and so was the TV remote control! We would be happy to stay again, we felt at home.

The second floor apartment was spacious for us and our grandchild. It had its own parking space. The owner generously provided many extra kitchen and bathroom items for use. It is convenient for a bus, 8A into town. There is a good playground a couple of minutes away. Also some local shops are a 7 minute walk. The apartment is quiet and had everything we needed. We would certainly return and recommend.

The location of the apartment is in a quite part of the Cambridge and it is 2km far from the center of city, but there is a bus stop near the house. The comfortable bus no. A took us to the center of Cambridge in 15 minutes. The host of the apartment Jeong is very kind and helpful personality. The key transfer was very easy. There is a special space on the ground floor for bicycles to store and I used it for my bicycle. There is a Tesco supermarket is 5 minutes to walk. The rooms, bathroom and kitchen was clean and very comfortable.

The neighbourhood was fine although very much residential and there was a small altercation with a neighbouring household with strong language and it was a little off putting. It did feel generally safe though

Not a "didn't like" as such, but if you want cafe's, pubs or restaurants within walking distance, then this isn't the place for you, as you would need transport to get to any of the above. But great location for access as not far from A14 and not far off main road (but no traffic noise).

Friendly welcome, clean, modern, airy and well equipped apartment. Everything you needed for a home from home stay. As four old schoolfriends having a catch up for a one night stay, we particularly appreciated the large comfy sofa and armchair - this is specifically why we chose this apartment, as all other 4 bedded apartments only had tiny sofas. We ordered a takeaway, and the kitchen was well equipped with bowls, cutlery, dishwasher etc, but there was plenty of things there if you wanted to cook yourself. Tesco's a short drive away for supplies. Highly recommended.

The location was great for me as very close to my daughter. May not be ideal for someone visiting the usual attractions, however, there is transport near, and the price was very good for the Christmas period. Lots of space and good sized kitchen.

There is a bit of traffic noise from the road, but you can't hear it with the windows closed.

Our second stay at Orchard Apartments. Apartment is lovely: spacious, modern and very clean, with good quality equipment and comfy beds. The owner is friendly and helpful, and very generous with supplies such as tea, coffee, toiletries etc! The apartment is about 10 mins easy drive from the city centre, in a residential area – there's a Tesco Express a few minutes walk away, which is handy. Overall a great place to stay and we will book again when visiting our daughter!
