There was a significant construction site located right next to the hotel. During our stay over a bank holiday, the site didn't bother us, but on the day of our check-out, we could hear the noise from the construction site. Additionally, the hotel does not have an elevator, which was fine for us, but might not be suitable for everyone.

The location is excellent, right next to St Pancras/King's Cross station. The facilities looked good with a cute bar and terrace on the first floor. The price for the stay is great, especially considering it's in London.

Steps down to the bathroom and the shower under the stairs. I’m 6’4” and it was a little awkward

£25 for a full English breakfast says to me we don’t want you to have breakfast so it’s less hassle for us

It’s across the road from St Pancras so ideal for getting around it’s not the cheapest but I’ve paid more and had far worse so good value for your money in Central London

Very warm night (summer) but couldn’t leave window open/open curtains for breeze as no nets or frosted glass. Found a fan the next morning! Bathroom window needed frosted glass as next to roadside. Towels very small, no hand towels. Bed very high (needed a step) made it difficult getting in and out due to hip and knee problems.

Quirky, good value for money, friendly staff and excellent proximity to station whilst not being too loud. Nice secluded garden area to have a drink.

The room was very hot ( thank you for the inclusion of the fan) This isn't the hotels fault, but the noise from the building works opposite the hotel was pretty full on.

The bathroom has a step down which made it a little awkward in the night. There were no lifts to the lower basement floor where we were staying making it difficult with large suitcases.

The location was excellent with eateries and pubs right around the corner. The train station was within 200m making it easy to get around.

Very friendly & helpful staff. Excellent communication prior to arriving. Room was very clean & comfortable. Quirky, cosy & welcoming. Stored our luggage for free prior to checking in & after checking out. Delicious breakfast provided in neighbouring hotel. Staff gave my son a birthday cake, drinks & snacks to celebrate his birthday while we were there. Convenient location for King's Cross/St Pancras. Tea, coffee & toiletries provided in room. Room was very quiet despite being very close to busy King's Cross station.

A fire alarm went off four times between 6 and 8am and the staff seemed to think it was funny when we complained (the lobby was full of people complaining).

Fantastic location, right beside Kings Cross Station. About a half hour walk from Camden. Room was very clean and decor is nice.

There was very noisy building work going on outside our room however this could not be helped. The staff were not the friendliest, a tad standoffish.

I've stayed at this hotel and would certainly stay again. The location is fantastic for onward transport, the welcome is warm and the rooms, whilst small, are really quirky and special. The beds are very comfortable.

I was in the downstairs room and the stairs were just a bit much for me and a heavy case. In future I’ll request a room on ground level. Wouldnt put me off going again

Ideal location, 4 min walk from Kings Cross. Clean room and super friendly staff. Seating areas indoors and outdoors, beautiful breakfast available too
