Absolutely lovely hotel, lovely staff, food was amazing

Hemmm few things could be improved... Our room door seems to had draft underneath it, so when people used the corridor door, our room door had a sound like if it will open lol Bathroom mirror was way high up so I couldn't see anything. Not even top of my head lol Considering the fact that room price aren't cheap, the food and drink meniu prices could be more friendly. We appreciate the beauty and variety of breakfast choices (I loved fruits, salmon and cheese selection) , but unfortunately didn't have simple option of scrambled egg or bacon (my partners comment).

We loved the hotel and how charming it is. Everything is done to very high standards and makes you to stop and take your time to look around. Beautiful grounds and garden. Definitely would recommend for special occasions. We had a great sleep and didn't want to leave super comfortable bed. Great and friendly staff makes visit very easy and pleasant. Also love that fact that parking is literally in front of the building.

The view in our room was gorgeous but unfortunately we have to stand on a chair to see it.

The hotel is full of characters with a good ambient. The room is lovely and new with exposed beams. The staff are so nice and friendly.

The only possible downside I can see is if, like me and my partner you don’t drive, transport is a bit of a nightmare. We did try and get the bus 19 outside but it never came (we could however manage to get it on our way home though) so we relied on taxis which can get expensive. Other than that though there isn’t honestly anything we didn’t love about our stay here.

What was there not to love about this place? They do mean it when they say it’s like a home away from home. From the warm welcomes off all the staff to the wonderful grounds to explore, there’s not much more you could ask of such a beautiful stay.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel, great location. Staff were all really helpful and made us feel welcome. Drinks in the apothecary and breakfast in the restaurant were lovely and we enjoyed being able to walk around the grounds of the hotel. Would definitely visit again! Also the reception/main hotel smelt amazing!

We chose a standard double room which was very small, it was located in the main house with an en-suite bathroom but there was nowhere to sit other than on the bed and the tea / coffee was on a low table in the corner which would have been better suited on a taller cabinet that provided further storage options as storage was minimal. Safe was inaccessible in the bottom of the wardrobe.

Property was beautiful, the staff were very helpful and attentive, the facilities were good. Breakfast was good, lots of fruit, yoghurt, cereal, toast and meat selection, boiled egg making machine and a pancake making machine.

The hotel is stunning in a beautiful location . The room was beautiful spacious clean with an amazing view of the mountains and gardens to the rear of the property. We booked a superior de luxe room The staff were amazing friendly and helpful it was my birthday treat and they left a little treat in the room on my arrival . We ate in the restaurant both nights .although probably a little more on the expensive side the food was delicious.

Although had fan in room it was too warm. Restaurant was full when I booked in and nothing really in the vicinity. After a long drive earlier I did not feel like driving elsewhere. When asked if any take aways deliver was informed by staff only 2 neither was food I eat.

The grounds were stunning, staff were both professional and friendly. Lovely touches for my dog in the room. Room and bathroom were clean. Nice seating outside over looking gardens. I would definitely return.

I found that there was a slight strange smell in the room . The extraction fan in the shower and light the bathroom seemed to go on for ever. As there wasn't a switch at hand. The water from the sink was hard to switch off. It might be an ideal to out a small set of draws some things on but having said all this these are minor issues

The hotel food was really great and the staff very friendly and helpful. Ideal for walking snowdon. I very much enjoyed my stay .

The room we were given was in the eves. Very small and hot. We were under the impression that a dog bed would be provided as we paid £25 per night for our dog, but we didn’t have one. Unfortunately we didn’t bother bringing our own dog bed with us.

Breakfast was lovely and the hotel was in an idyllic location. Very peaceful. The hotel catered for our dog.
