Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.

Saudi ArabiaIt is one of the worst living experience in my life ; horrible apartment from all aspects and not even deserve 1 star with list of long comments as follow; - Very late check-in while I mentioned in my booking the estimation of my arrival. - No clear guidelines and directions to reach to the apartment - The pictures at the both websites ( Booking and Airbnb ) aren’t matching the reality since in person its awful apartment. - We found in the 1st night a very dirty blankets and consumable not suitable for humans then changed in the 2nd day. - Very old couch on the living room - Wifi is very week and difficult to catch the internet - Very high price with Zero quality and even if it was free for me with the current conditions I will never take it . - The stairs has got no light at night and consider there is no elevator while the apartment is located in the second floor There is one positive feedback I can see it in this apartment which is the location, and thats it. My advise for anyone has plan to visit Edinburgh exclude this Burnets Apartment from your selection ever. Thx

UkraineUnfortunately, we have very bad experience with the service and management of the apartment! There were a lot of problems in communication with company and services! First of all we have a booking confirmation with wrong address of the apartment! Second the owner didn’t send us information about the key , after we send them the email for request and call them twice before coming! The apartment was very dirty, the kitchen, the windows, other equipments. I don’t no if we ever come and recommend someone to come in it we didn’t get to the apartment the first night.We left on the street with 3 children !

This was nightmare, later I booked another hotel for 3 night. The next day 12.45 they send me a massage asked me about my stay! Did they play or what . Please help me to get my money back. Thanks

United KingdomAdvertised as a "Luxury" 2 bedroom apartment - definitely not luxury. The carpet was filthy and covered in very large paint spots and stains, the shower head was broken in the downstairs shower and you had to hold it up to get showered and the water was lukewarm. We had no Wifi until the final night. Not enough cups for the people staying, the toiletries hadn't been refilled and 1 roll of toilet roll left for 5 people across 2 bathrooms. Mould around the upstairs bathroom seals. We didn't receive any check in instructions so had to chase these up on the day. We raised the concerns we had with the number we were sent the check in information on in day, and were told someone would come to the property in the hour at 4pm. We were in the apartment until 6.30pm, no one came, however we got a message at 7 saying they were at the property and there was no issue with the water or wifi and it was us not connecting correctly - low and behold when we got home that evening it had been resolved so I believe the router (which we couldn't access) had been re-set as the thermostat which needed wifi connection had been reading "not connected to wi-fi for 2 days, please re-connect" so I don't believe it was our fault in not connecting correctly. The other issues raised, i.e. the cleanliness, carpet, hot water etc were not addressed. I appreciate it is the Fringe and properties are expensive, but we booked well in advance and had a good selection to choose from, and chose this property based on the features and benefits sold - I asked for some reimbursement based on this and it was ignored - I paid nearly a thousand pounds for the weekend here with my family to put this in context and feel let down based on the overall experience we had, especially compared to other properties we have stayed in and paid the same amount to enjoy the fringe. It could be amazing given the location which is a shame but we won't be back.
Location was fantastic, the beds were comfortable and there was enough room for the 5 of us comfortably without us feeling we were on top of each other. We were able to gain access to the room earlier which was very much appreciated. My elderly Grandmother who came with us, loved being able to sit at the window and watch the street performances outside.

United KingdomThe location was very hard to find. Car parking is a let down as it was very expensive to pay for three nights stay. I would suggest give some sort of discount or a parking permit with the apartments.
The Apartment was good, but shame about the location. Due to the pubs it was very noisey all night especially if you stay there with children/family.
