We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomIt would have been better to have had my checkin instructions sent to me ahead of my arrival at the property. I had a 15 minute turnaround and had to ring my host to prompt a text message which contained the checkin instructions. I had been led to believe that I would be met at the property. In a hurry, I concentrated on the 2 combinations I needed to get into my room. I didn't read the part about putting the key back in the lockbox, instead putting it on my keyring. I was alerted to this shortly before 9pm, and had to return from the restaurant I was at in order to place the key back in the lockbox: a 45 minute round journey.

United KingdomEntrance is scary, Common Stairs to property are filthy with urine spots. Matress seems very old and not at all comfortable. Same were the pillows abd duvet.Bed constantly making noise as you make a movement. Parking wrongly mentioned in the description, its not available and is very costly around the property.Spent £35 for 2 night’s parking :( Not aware of booking.com policy, I have been using for years but never encountered such low quality property on site.

TV set was relatively old, hence with a limited number of available channels, bed lining of grey colour was not ironed, bedside lamp condition was such that I was unwilling even to touch it.
Quite location within a walking distance from the High Street shops, since the room belongs to a property in the terraced housing, the facilities are shared with other guests: I was lucky that other visitors' period of activity did not interfere with mine.

Hong KongThe location is extremely difficult to find, no exact number plate or road number, you have to ask several neighbours ir passengers, but they still didn't know and look confused. In such a cold and windy weather, you are alone and with all your luggage, you won't want this experience at all. Moreover, it seems to me it is a council house and live with lowlifes.

United KingdomIf I am to be a bit nit-picky, there was no where to sit in the room except an uncomfortable wooden chair, and bed. Also bring your own entertainment as there is no TV. The shower kept leaking water, water wasn't very hot in the evening but servicable. Also bathroom was a bit cramped. The stay entirely depends on who you're sharing the facilities with. Our neighbours were quiet but I'd imagine if you were in the room we stayed in by the kitchen and a light-sleeper you could be disturbed quite easily.
For what I paid, the room was good value for money. It was clean and a decent size, as was the bed, the mattress wasn't half bad either. The kitchen was clean and it was great having access to a fridge and freezer. Bathroom was also clean.
