More choice of alcoholic beverages would add to more satisfaction.

A hotel that is not done justice online and should be seen to be believed. From the warm welcome, to the cosy (and funky) rooms, there was not a moment where you were not looked after. The food deserves a Michelin star and the cocktails are more akin to a James Bond film. The surrounding area is calm and relaxing whilst being intriguing due to being intertwined with sculptures. The artwork and film memorabilia make this hotel like spending time on a film set, seeing things that you would not normally get to see. I would highly recommend to any traveler's.

The decor was amazing- so different and interesting. The breakfast is worth every penny- such a fantastic range of food that was all tasty, well cooked and great quality. The dogs were welcomed and the sculpture park was ideal for a walk. Fabulous place

An beautiful hidden gem, with incredible staff - Charlie was incredibly thoughtful, kind, & helpful even when we rocked up super late into the evening. The decoration is absolutely insane! As this was a completely unplanned, last minute stay we were totally unprepared for what we’d booked ourselves in for but my god did we love stumbling across this place. We’ll be back to stay as quickly as we can, as this was a total and utter treat for the senses!!

The room smelt of drains on the first night but it wore off the next day. The people next door watched TV late into the night both nights - we couldn't decide whether the walls were thin or they had the volume turned up very high!

Beautiful room, lovely, friendly staff. Bathroom was perfectly fine for us, albeit a little small, but definitely not a negative like so many reviews on here. Lots of choice of tea and coffee in the room. Loved the offer of a Dyson hairdryer! Breakfast was a work of art, but we felt awful leaving most of it - I could only manage half a bowl of the porridge and a slice of sourdough toast with the baked egg so it was a very expensive experience at £20 a head and quite wasteful. Absolutely delicious though.

Why have cheap faux bowler hats when you could buy a couple cheaply as vintage and have nice ones?

Superb team, super helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The fun that the team have had designing the place is evident in every room. The dinner at Canvas was one of the best restaurant meals I have had in years. Utterly superb.

It was ‘Out of this World’. It was an exceptional experience. Quality accommodation in a setting with high end art from food to walls and sculptures. It is a masterpiece.

There was a lot of items available on the breakfest menu, it would be advisable to ask quests what they would like off the menu and request the items in the order they would like them.

The breakfast was good and unusual, sausages,bacon and roasted tomatoes on basil were exceptional as were some of the other locally sourced items. Our room was large and comfortable. There are a number of themed public spaces in the hotel containing all manner of interesting items not usually found in hotels

The room was amazing with everything you need and it was the best night sleep we had had in a long time great bed.

We have been travelling around and needed a hotel so we booed online then arrived, due to the time no meals where available but the staff called around and found us some ware to eat not far from the hotel. This is a very different hotel but we loved it.
