Not clean. Service was sub-par. We stayed two nights and they didn’t do housekeeping on the room. Had to ask for more towels, TP, etc. breakfast porridge was cold and gluey.

Didn’t really like the shared bathroom, but it was always available when I went to use it. Also room was facing road which was fairly busy during the day but relatively quiet at night.

Be correctly equipped for the destination you travel. In my evening walk on my way back to the place I got soaked in the rain and the weather is cooler in August than I expected.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The breakfast was delicious, offering a good variety of options to start the day. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area. My room was comfortable, providing a relaxing space to unwind. Overall, a great experience that I would happily recommend!

The parking is not great but exists. The staircase and hallways are quite narrow which cant be helped but should be noted. Lastly was the amount of midgys as myself and my partner woke to have a lot of bites.

It was small, quaint and calming. It’s been well kept with good sized rooms. Staff were really friendly and the breakfast was lovely. The shared bathrooms are brilliant and very clean.

The stairs to the rooms were offal. My father has bad knees and hips this made it very difficult. The door ways and ceiling heights in the top floor were interesting. Very narrow and small overall. Parking is not great but we had a jeep thankfully. Anywhere on the isle of skye seems to be expensive to stay.

Rooms very clean and comfortable breakfast was beautiful. TV in the rooms have YouTube and Netflix to log into which was great.

Very pretty rooms. Loved the breakfast and the service at the breakfast. Polite and efficient. The room and the toilets were super clean. The location of the hotel was so nice. A petrol station and supermarket with huge parking lot right opposite and a huge lake also for the pictures.

The bathroom was very minimalist and it was shared for two rooms. Also the room we had was very different to the pictures we saw from the house. The height of the ceiling is quite low.

The room was small and cozy and the TV could be used for YouTube, Netflix and co. The breakfast was very tasty and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Thanks for the nice stay!

Twin room was at the top of a very narrow, steep, winding staircase with limited banister. Bathroom opens on to the top of the stairs. Betwythe bathroom and room 3 there is also a fire extinguisher making it difficult to negotiate between the two. It is not easy to get up and down whilst carrying luggage.

Excellent location. Lovely, welcoming staff. Excellent breakfast!

The most expensive room over a three week trip could be because the isle of skye is a popular location. Made a mistake of booking what I thought was a queen bed, but it was only a double That was my fault - not Marta’s. The bed is definitely not big enough for two adult males. Otherwise the room was beautiful clean with a nice shower.

Good location the staff was very very friendly. Marta answered many questions with a great deal of patience. The breakfast was spectacular huge plate of eggs with smoked salmon with many other options.

For those hiking the main routes in Skye, Broadford is a bit of a drive, however the price is much more reasonable here and less busy that in Portree.

If staying in Broadford the location is great, walking distance to cafes and restaurants, opposite the supermarket and gas station, sea views. Breakfast is impressive and delicious, and staff are very friendly and helpful.

We stayed in the family suite on the ground floor, the ventilation in the bathroom was terrible. After one shower it left the entire room filled with condensation on every surface and you could see some mold growing on the wall and trim.

The location was good, easily accessible. The breakfast was great, food was delicious both days. The staff were great, Marta especially was very lovely, made us feel welcomed and well taken care of.

Bathroom abit chilly and the floor slippery when wet. Bathtub also abit dangerous when wet. Might recommend bath mat.

The window in the room 1 was directly on to the main road and you could hear the traffic going past at mid/late evening and early morning (despite widow being double glazed) the sausage we had as part of the breakfast was not to our taste,(possibly vegetarian)and also the beans were a strange colour compared to the regular baked beans
