Some of the lights not working in the room. No towels on arrival. Asked for a travel cot and got bought to the room with no mattress so couldn't use it. The mattress was so uncomfortable. Family room faced faced the car park which meant it was quite noisy and a car alarm went off and woke us up.

The main part of the hotel was nice. Staff were friendly. Easy to check in. Nice to have two singles and a double for family room rather than a sofa bed.

Poor Wi-Fi connection in room, In fact non existent. Rooms were dirty with previous residents underwear left in bathroom, so rooms were not cleaned properly. Overall quality of hotel was poor as it looked outdated.

Location was good in pleasant environment. Hotels grounds were well maintained and pleasant to look at. It was located close to major roads and highways. Price was reasonable.

The handle on my door wasn’t good it kept sticking in the down position locking me out I had to jiggle it to right the handle

Many of the staff were lovely but very overworked, and they let us know it! Bar staff, waiting staff, chef… All complained that they were worked ‘like dogs’. All the tables on the terrace was full of empty glasses on the tables, and none behind the bar so had to drink wine out of either a tumbler or gin glass! I saw the chef shouting at a lady at breakfast for shaking the fat off her bacon before putting it in her plate then stood there saying ‘only 1 piece each’ and muttering to himself… So rude! Our room had a nasty smell and we were offered a room move but had unpacked so accepted a can of air freshener instead. The food was mediocre but the restaurant manager was lovely and very friendly. There was a punch up going on as we checked in but the police arrived in 4 cars to deal with it…

The majority of staff were friendly and helpful. The grounds were nice and it was a good location.

no remote in the bedroom. I asked for one 4 times and never got it. The Wifi also didnt work, even though I paid for it, so I had to go down and wait for a free voucher code. Even then the connection was poor. The phone in the room doesnt have a shortcut dial to the reception, meaning it is totally pointless. (If it did have a shortcut it wasnt included). The plug sockets next the the bed weren't standard plug sockets so are incompatible with charging heads.

the noise of a dog barking late into the night everything in the hotel is tired and needs upgrading the pillows and bed were rock hard

There was a large wedding during both days of our stay. This didn’t make our stay unpleasant it was just not something we expected upon our arrival.

The pool and gym were an excellent addition, probably one of the best equipped gyms we’ve seen within a hotel. The rooms, although dated were extremely spacious.

No access to restraunt because of bus crowds, No good beers, average beds but low cost.

OK.i was at an event in the RIock centre for two days so just wanted a local value hotel. This had lots of value bus visitors enjoying so we had a different requirement. No big 8sdue but no room 8n restaurant god dinner or breakfast is a problem

No desk or chair to work (travelled for work). No shower, only a bath. I would have expected this to be highlighted during the booking. Very noisy in the corridors in the evening.

the toilet seat in room 348 is broken, and wobbles, there was dirt in the draws so me and my partner had to wipe them down with wipes before being able to place our belongings in there, & i origionally wanted a room with a jaccuzi bath, which is why i paid £85, but only got a room with a shower.
