Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe shower didn’t work properly as there was only scalding hot water therefore it was unusable. As it was midnight it was too late for me to bother reporting it that night. The room was boiling hot and the so called air con didn’t work

United KingdomHaving requested an early check in since we were due at a wedding at 3pm, we were firstly delighted and relieved that our room was indeed available, but then were rather shocked that you wanted £10 for each hour before the regular 3pm book in. It was 12.30 at this point but an accommodation was reached…
Parking facilities were excellent being able to offload from the NCP Carpark under cover and check in before parking the car. A cost of £20 for the 24 hours applied which we settled at reception. Subsequently reception activated the ticket to enable us to get through the barrier upon leaving. Comfortable, quiet room. Close enough for the Registry Office where we were headed on foot. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of variety, hot plates, plenty of assistance. Our waitress, Mriktta, was especially delightful.

United KingdomSadly I didn't realise that the room would have a bath rather than shower. Being in the older age bracket I found the side of the bath too high for me to access it. Not a complaint, an observation! I was offered an alternative but due to relatively short stay decided not to change because the bed was very comfortable and the view lovely.
Location very good for my needs. Breakfast excellent and lovely staff. Room had beautiful view over city.

United KingdomThe restaurant breakfast was pricey when we only wanted a quick breakfast before needing to leave. So we found food elsewhere. A couple of cleaning staff knocked on the door across our stay and when we answered the door were meet with odd faces and one spoke but walked off. We found this odd and off putting. However any we saw in the corridors always said hello and were friendly. The bathroom door didnt lock and unlock comfortably.
The location was perfect for our visit to Bristol. The rooms were some of the most comfortable hotel rooms I have ever stayed in and were super clean. We loved the hand written noted on the mirrors! The hotel staff were always happy and friendly.
