We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomHotel room was dark, painted all in black with 1 light by the door! Some window panes were smashed and covered in plastic or cardboard. Room was very dirty and bathroom, we were unable to use the shower as it was so hot, hot as in trying to wash under a boiled kettle! The temperature could not be controlled, we couldn't use the sink as there was no plug and the same with the basin hot tap, too hot! There were no staff on hand to assist with the facilities

United Kingdomhaving no physical reception was very frustrating. the number provided for ‘reception’ do not answer texts or phone calls when you’re trying to access the property. was stood outside waiting an hour till someone eventually picked up after i had called and texted many times. the room itself was okay, however the shower was terrible, water was either boiling hot or freezing cold no in between. FYI if you get the lower bedroom under the building you won’t get any signal on your phone which was also very frustrating

Dangerous hot water in the shower, my husband could not get out of the shower quick enough and leaving a large red mark on his chest. If this was a child would be even more dangerous on their skin.

United KingdomThe self check in process is a little bit frustrating as it was all communication on WhatsApp which seemed very disorganised. I was expecting a double bed and a single bed but had the most uncomfortable camp bed to sleep in which for the money charged is not really acceptable. Only managed to sleep about an hour on it as it was so uncomfortable. It's really black inside and not very well lit so felt a bit hazardous navigating the three flights of stairs! And one of the curtains was hooked up with nails which felt a bit like a squat.
The double bed was okay and reasonably quiet.

United KingdomThe room was tiny, a tiny little box and the walls are paper thin so you can hear everything! The room next to me had a couple in there who had their television on all night, they had a dog that I could hear barking and I could hear their conversations from midnight till 08.00am ( I know this isn't necessarily the hotels fault but as there is no reception or anyone to speak to there is nothing they could have done anyway) its not value for money and I had to pay 137.00 + 2.97 just to " check myself in" you have to do so much yourself and what is expected from you, but I had terrible service and a crap nights sleep! Maybe think about booking something else nicer in Brighton!

Fire allarm come on at 1 am but no fire or any problem, we wait outside near 1 hour till staff show up, but because someone talk with him not too nice he run away and left the alarm on. Nice staff! Congratulation! So everybody wait another 15 mins outside the middle of night antil he show up again and switch it of. Ohhh yeah!!!! One more thing! The online check in you have to pay £2,95 through a website what is not a uk website, it is say Malta and Gozo something... I think it is not a safe stuff be carefour, give them a disposable card!! They will not provide a receipt or anything!!! Also any of the phone number is not working so you can not call them! The online check in took us more then an hour until they answer!!!

United KingdomThe room wasn't very clean, the curtain was held up by nails and not a curtain rail, one of the rooms we had was boiling hot and had to use the bin to keep the window open,that room was very dingy and not great lighting, shower took ages for the water to drain away down the plug so was standing in ankle high water, the hotel itself was very dark and dingy, the campbed in our room only half a very thin like mattress topper on it so not even a proper mattress. Net curtains were filthy and the lampshades had a inch thick layer of dust, 2 of our party has been bitten by something from that room, no hairdryer, mattress and pillows were badly stained.
The location was perfect,very short walk from the seafront.

United Kingdom-Missleading B&B. Says Brighton B&B and Hot Tub! The hot tubs were not working and thats the selling point and the main reason we booked it. Then we are told they are broken but when they are working its £20 per person. I dont think that you should be expected to pay that amount on top of your stay. You should include the spa into the cost. Then i was constantly texted around 5 Times being asked if i wanted to pay extra for checking in early or out later. Signs everywhere in the room asking you to pay extra £10 for every extra hour you stay. This was a very incomfortablr place for us. Reqding tjat everywhere. Very pushy trying to make a few bucks extra put of your guests at every turn. Invorrect wifit signs on the rooms. Anout 20 different wifi codes for each room. Very unesesary. Only one cup for teas and coffees. The front doors did not lock. We felt very insafe in the building whilst it would not lock. Felt lack of any human interaction and a company that sheerly only buisness for financial gain. Not for customer csre or satisfaction had to also pay £3 just to be texted the codes into the property. Overal very missleading and a company only interestef in profits and not customers experience.
