Whilst showering a fuse blew and the electricity was off for a couple of hrs. When we arrived we wanted to dry our cycling jerseys but the clothes dryer was full of damp towels and bedclothes.

The location was excellent, just a 5 minute walk to shops, cafes and waterfront. Yet the neighbourhood was quiet and we slept well.

Another apartment in the building was very noisy on our first night, playing loud music until 2am. We also struggled to get consistent hot water on our final morning.

A great location in the heart of Southsea. The apartment was spacious, and communication from the host was clear and timely, with very helpful information on parking etc. Great value for money overall.

Couple of things could do with a little attention. Bathroom door needs looking at, only the lock holds it shut and that’s quite loose so doesn’t feel very private. Shower needs attention as was either boiling hot or freezing cold and could cause burns (there was a sign saying water was hot but it still needs sorting). Other than that it could just do with freshening up in general.

Parking is a bit of a pain but that's the same everywhere in Southsea. Kids didn't like the squeaky mattress protectors on the bed as they were noisy.

Much bigger than expected the living room was bigger than it seemed in photos and three double bedrooms, the biggest being huge. Amazing location. High ceilings, very light, windows everywhere! Really quiet.

The heating in front room was a bit difficult to figure out and did not come on and then came on in morning. I accept landlord had mentioned timer but my partner was a bit unclear on the instrucitons he had sent.

The landlord kept us updated with how to get into property easily and when. The property was very spacious and well positioned for seafront. If you know Portsmouth it is not too far back into the city or short taxi cab ride to stations. Very clean with clear instructions given in property.

This was the perfect place to stay in Southsea in close proximity to the seafront, local bars and restaurants. Asaph's communication was spot on which made check-in a breeze. The apartment is clean and homely- the bedding is comfortable and a night's stay was favourably priced, comparatively very cheap for the area. I was on a short stay with the friends but would love to return and spend more time there, even with the family.. I aim to book again and would do so without hesitation. Highly recommended.

Nothing really. Everything was as we expected. There are quite a few stairs to get to the flat (2 flights inside and a few steps outside), but these are mentioned in the description before booking. No problem for the average person, but just keep in mind.

Spacious and very clean. Great communication from the host including a welcome message and pictures prior to arrival. Kitchen well appointed, Fridge freezer and clear instructions on the flat and local area in a folder.
