The breakfast was delicious, well cooked and plenty of it. The location was also lovely, right in the centre of Grasmere which is a beautiful village. The staff were also really friendly and helpful.

There was no restaurant within the hotel, you had to walk to the sister hotel for the restaurant and pool. Other than that I have no complaints!

Lovely clean and comfy room, staff were friendly and the breakfast and afternoon tea and scones were delicious! In a perfect location in the centre of grasmere as well!

The location is in the centre of Grasmere. You can reach all parts of the district easily from here. The welcome was amazing. We really appreciated the tea, coffee and scones. Breakfast was lovely. The lovely lady who looked after us is an amazing asset to the hotel.

A hotel bar area

A warm welcome, comfortable bed and clean room. The breakfast cooked to order and the chef was visible in the kitchen which gave a home cooked feeling

Minor problem with the area just at the porch entrance as the lamps were not working and it was very dark when arriving and leaving the porch area.

It is within walking distance of all of the places of interest in Grasmere. It is tastefully furnished, warm and very comfortable.

Fabulous service from booking to leaving. Lovely staff, lovely hotel. Room was so comfortable and sound proofed. We were there during a storm and heard nothing! Lovely touch of scones and pastries available in the afternoon. Fabulous location. Food fantastic, breakfast was perfect. Comfy bed, extremely clean room and amazing shower! Allocated parking is great too!

Staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. Loved the fact that this place had all the privacy of a hotel but small enough and welcoming to feel like we were in a very smart but very relaxed guest house with friends Breakfast was great and loved watching the chef cook breakfast in the open kitchen. It was so nice to be able to help ourselves to tea and coffee anytime of day in the kitchen and have fresh milk, and very special treat to be able to come back to fresh scones, jam and cream in the afternoons. There was always someone on hand to help if needed or to make us a drink from the bar, we were able to order food in from the sister hotel and have it delivered. A table was even set for us to use when it arrived. Staff were so attentive and lovely

Central village location, with amazing walks / pubs / cafes on the doorstep. Allocated parking space made coming and going easy. Delicious freshly made breakfast each morning. All the staff were really friendly and welcoming. Has more of a guest house rather than hotel vibe - e.g. a shared kitchen / sitting area for afternoon tea, but this suits us.

Lovely hotel, surprised it’s rated as 3* as feel it should higher. All staff were welcoming and friendly, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious, a fantastic touch that they offer complimentary afternoon tea. We also ordered off the takeaway menu one evening which again was very good. Room was a great size and had everything we needed.

We stayed at Bridge House Hotel for our honeymoon. We had a fantastic time there. The room was lovely, the location fab, the breakfast and afternoon scones/tea were superb and the staff there very friendly and helpful. The room was stunning, lovely decor. We will stay there again in future.

1 of the rooms did have flies all of the window but after keeping the window open, they eventually left other than that there was no issues
