Nothing really just we couldn't get into any local restaurants so we had to go to Portree, but we should have booked sooner.

Everything was good!

This cottage was super comfy for us! First of all, Angie, the owner of this property, was super friendly, she always asked us whether we needed any help or any additional things in the house. We were lucky to have good neighbors. Breakfast basket was enough for us to have a decent breakfast in the morning. There was a parking near the house and the location was good enough to travel to any direction of the island. And there is a bus stop right next to the house, so I suppose you could travel by bus too? I can fully recommend this cottage ☺️

We did not find any concise information about the accommodation or local area, which we would normally expect. I'm sure there would have been some but it was not obvious where! It was not a big issue.

The accommodation was beautiful and set in a lovely area overlooking the fells. It was quiet and very good for sleeping.

It was great honestly!

The cottage has private rooms which share living spaces and the kitchen. Everyone had a private bathroom which was great. The living space were comfortable and big enough so you don’t have to engage with others if you don’t want to. The host was also lovely and responded to our wishes quickly. Stargazing was also possible on the porch. Definitely coming back!

Can’t say there was anything I disliked. I’d say having some drinking cups in upstairs bathrooms would be good. Maybe a fan for warmer nights too (just suggestions)

Unfortunately, and not the fault of the property, there was no water on our second evening. One begins to appreciate the importance of water in so many of one's daily activities, especially when it involves toilets.

Would prefer to see Scottish butter and jam for breakfast if possible. And a sign explaining the recycling (I might have missed it!)

Lovely kitchen with everything you might need (including a laundry).Comfortable lounge areas and very comfy bed. Continental breakfast supplies provided were lovely and more than enough. I appreciated the flexibility of being able to have breakfast anytime (including when I got back from the pub the night before....) Beautiful big windows looking north west for sunset.

The beds could be a little more comfy. After spending long days hiking around Skye, a comfy mattress and a few more pillows would have been welcome. But this had been our experience thoughout our stay in Scotland. Maybe we just like soft fluffy mattresses.

This was a really fun home in which to stay. The home was decorated in a lovely way. It was clean, open, and had a ton of windows and light. The kitchen was fully equipped. The common areas were spacious. Bathrooms updated and well appointed. We would stay again if ever back in Skye.

It's quite remote so not a lot of options for dinner, and quite some distance to most key sights/activities. It would have been helpful with some instructions on what was included at breakfast (bread, juices etc) apart from the little labelled basket in the fridge.

Clean, modern place with a great shower. We stayed in room 3 and the view was lovely - especially at sunset.
