No heating in bathroom, not too bad for us but would be very cold in the winter months.

You have to climb a concrete stair case to reach the apartment door, this wasn’t a problem for me but most certainly would be for anybody with mobility issues

Location is fantastic! The place is a little small but perfect as a base for a weekend doing all Windermere has to offer. The whole accommodation was VERY clean and everything in order. Good shout from a previous review reminding me to bring a bath mat as well as towels. Great communication with Andrew, 100% would return.

No heating in bathroom toilet seat wobbly. Kitchen cupboard doors a bit tired. no space for food every cupboard taken up with utensils. No freezer which as we were there for 5 days I took frozen foods and had to eat or throw away. Bedrooms lovely very comfy double bed Would prefer ground floor but not a deal breaker

Damp. Electric storage heaters were not working, 2 oil filled radiators were provided instead however these weren't sufficient for heating the property. The property had a permanent damp feel about it.

Aaaaaaaaall the steps up to the room after walking Scafell Pike!!!! Had some trouble putting cott up but think that was just us!

Bathroom - shower curtain had mould on it. Would be better if replaced the bath with a walk in shower. It was hard to climb into the bath with no handle for support. Also no towel rail or bath mat which made it a slip hazard. I’ve recently fallen so I was very wary of this. Host did say no towels were provided but should also mention no bath mat as we had nothing to step onto after climbing out the bath with wet feet so it was quite dangerous. It felt like it needed some money spent on it for modernisation. Just dated.

The property is situated on the second floor and there is no lift service. This was not a problem for me and my partner, but others may find this a little challenging. 

The property is ideally situated close to the town centre and the lakes, there are many restaurants and bars to frequent, along with walks to suit all age groups.

Nothing much really. Maybe some slightly more modern utilities/facilities but maybe that’s just our age showing . Wi-Fi would be nice so we use our laptops for work/tv but wasn’t too much of a problem as we weren’t there for that really. Some more towels for the kitchen and bathroom too! Other than that great little accommodation and a fantastic host

Andy was a super helpful and friendly host. The apartment had a fantastic location, and did the job fine. Situated right in the heart of bowness. Was clean and a car park too use was handy!!. A very comfortable stay.

Rather dated with paintwork and cosmetics (kitchen cupboards etc) that could do with updating. TV is so basic that channels were a pain to skip between and you can’t link your phone to the TV to allow access to Freeview etc (no Wi-Fi at the premises).

Great location for exploring the Lake District, proximity to all pubs and eateries in Bowness and accessibility to boat trips et al. Nice view over the lake/hills and good parking close by.

For what we needed everything was great -

Location was amazing and perfect for our weekend away. Bed was super comfy Communication with owner throughout was quick and we got everything we needed. Great shop for takeaway coffee right underneath
