Excellent for a night or two - character, cleanliness and comfort. Perfect

It was all fine, there was nothing not to like.

Perfect location, immediate parking arranged by the host. Parking is otherwise hell in Brighton. It is a small room which had been imaginatively designed to maximise its space thus lending it even more character and of course excellent hosts...and the breakfast in the room was perfect for our needs.

Everything about our stay was perfect. It has a great location, near to the Lanes and the seafront. The room was cosy and the bed was comfy. The shower was amazing as was the tasty choices for breakfast. Have a drink in the pub downstairs, you won't regret it. All the staff and the regulars were very friendly.

No car parking. Booked through JustPark but car was 1.5 miles from accommodation! Noise at night - didn’t sleep well from midnight to 4am due to noise, like being in a fairground

Central, easy to get to family social event, clean, compact, service was excellent, breakfast was perfect

No reading lights. No tea towels.

The small size and the antiquity made it charming. Host was very helpful. Warm and comfortable room. Very quiet.

The room was very clean and warm and everything was provided for a comfortable stay. The staff was very friendly and the landlady was extremely helpful giving great advice regarding parking especially. Although above a public house which was busy on arrival, no noise could be heard in the rooms. A varied continental breakfast was provided in the room. The pizza place some 20 metres away was a great place to grab a pizza and a drink, also with very friendly staff.

The bed was a bit ‘soft’ for me personally, and the room was a bit on the small side, but it was very comfortable and quiet.

It was perfectly located for local restaurants, bars, and the County Cricket Ground in Hove. Sue was extremely welcoming and very helpful!

This is just a preference, there was no handled shower head, it’s a fixed shower head in the ceiling, I prefer the handled type.

It’s in a good location, the room had everything one could need and more. The sheets were clean, they smelled fresh. I don’t care that the room is small.

Room was quite small (but perfectly formed!)

We had a very comfortable stay. The room was quite small but had everything that we reqiured, such as extra pillows and a fan. The bed was comfortable. We loved the breakfast that was left in the room and it was very useful having a little fridge. Staff were chatty and attentive.

We stayed at Bow St Runner for three nights during the Great Escape music festival. This is a great place to stay and we loved it. It's a small inn with just a few rooms. A friendly welcome on arrival and kindly allowed me to drop off my bag a few hours before check in. The room itself was a clean and comfortable. WiFi worked perfectly. Best of all was the breakfast provided to eat in the room each day, including fresh pastries, fruit, yoghurt and juice. We enjoyed the location, which is sufficiently far from Brighton's centre to feel a bit more calm, but not so far that is difficult to get to. It's a nice walk into Brighton from the property, either along sea front or Western Road.
